KEITA RA has ever released 2 albums, “ALBUM” from AIUEO RECORDS including remixes by ALTZ & YAKENOHARA, and “Rinth” from WOOD FRAME, a unique label in Osaka.   Track 1 on the A side sounds like water is flowing and the guitars & groove are gradually throbbing.  Track 2 is a remix by ALTZ, in which he has created a visional space, a magical sound world rousing imaginary music.  On the B side is a house remix by CALM.  It is a synthesizer work and a modern Balearic trance track that has sublimed paradisiacal, positive euphoria in the powerful dance groove.

The night went on and on, it seemed as if it might never end. It was late for some but as he counted the money in his pocket he knew that it was not too late for a sum. There was more profit to be made in this place and as he weaved and wandered between the lost souls of the night he thought about his life back home. The small town streets and the smiling faces of those people that had raised him, if only they could see him now. The music echoed with a hollow bounce as the walls moved beneath the flickering glow of strobes and flares. He took a deep breath and walked forwards into the blackness...

This is the second release between the collaborative duo which is Kincaid and his father Blancmange. They have previously released music together on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint and was widely supported. Their new EP is even bigger.

It's time for celebration ! As the Worst Records adventure goes on and on, let's take a moment for a multiverse reunion in the form of our first Greatest Hits compilation. This imaginary space is the meeting point between some figures of our hometown and others from outer lands.

You will cross the paths of the authors of the first three releases of the label, namely A Strange Wedding, Christian Coiffure and Jacques Satre (also delivering a mind-warping session under Babiah 8000 alongside Saint-Etienne's activist Farkoner). You'll also hear from Del.Duc, a member of the Positive Education crew. As special guests, we wanted to put some highlights on intriguing faces such as Itako, Gil.Barte and Tassilo Vanhoefen, providing there slow-motion, heavy dream-powered tunes in the style we adore so much. Beesmunt Soundsystem and Black Seed bring up some notable contributions from outside of France, whether it is for a raindance session or a tribal expedition.
How to sum up this whole vortex of trippy blocks of sound? Our dear friend Eiger Drums Propaganda has the answer in the opening track : some strange things happen in this city... and this city is Saint Etienne. This being said in a malicious voice, of course.

2020 marks five years of Rhythm Section International and to celebrate the Peckham-based label has brought together a host of family, friends and newcomers for a hefty compilation, SHOUTS. Spanning a wide breadth of sounds and styles, the 36 track release features the likes of old friends like Prequel, Mallard, Neu Graffik and Contours, as well as contemporaries and newcomers like Yu Su, Emma Jean-Thackray, Session Victim and our pick from Chilean Born, Milan Based DJ and producer Paula Tape. 

Label boss Bradley Zero penned some words about Paula and her Rhythm Section debut for the compilation: "Her Track 'Panamericana' channels her South American roots with a conga-led percussive pattern backed by a driving Italo rhythm - a gentle nod to her adopted country where she has quickly become an integral part of the scene. Duro's next V/A collection calls on label friends old and new from all corners of the world. The next edition of the Muy Duro series features five tracks - including three collaborations coming courtesy of Calypso co-founder Thomass Jackson and Hard Fist's Cornelius Doctor, Concret & Iñigo Vontier and Martin Noise and Marzian, and two solo endeavours from Colombian producer Kabinett and Lithuania's Roe Deers. Things had changed since people had got word of the untouched beauty of this forest. Once it had been home to all manner of birds, bugs and animals, blissfully unaware that they would soon be pushed out of their home in favour of humanity. Where tree branches once sprawled and thick green ivy had laced its way into the crumbling brickwork of ancient pathways, now glass buildings towered overhead and chain coffee shops teamed with tourists getting their morning caffeine fix. Regeneration had taken over, gentrification had creeped in. The endless battle of man vs nature.

For their seventh release, Vienna-based imprint Belly Dance Services enlist the talents of Mexico's Bufi AKA Theus Mago. Titled Baile Muerto, the EP flaunts Bufi's signature take on modern dance music; at times dark and hypnotic and at others bright, percussive and tropical-tinged. Both original tracks on the release are backed up by two remixes, one from label heads Hanzo & Yaman and another by Multi Culti boss Thomas Von Party.

For our second foray into the vinyl world, label head Massey joins forces with Sir Horatio, 'a certain' band from Manchester on collaboration cut 'Music Control'.

The result is a meeting of musical minds that blends together both parties favoured sounds to create a squelchy sandwich of post disco/proto house with a healthy helping of acid & punk funk which should appeal to fans of mucky basements and cosmic mosh-pits.

On board for the remix ride are Manchester's very own 'Prince in a Bergahus' collective, See Thru Hands who lean heavy on the funk and take art deeper into the cosmos whilst the Sink ya Teeth ladies strip things back and go straight for the warehouse with a sparse funk rework that features their own additional vocals with additional acieeeeed!
