Empire of the Sun, the visionary Australian electronic duo comprising Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, have been making waves across the world with phenomenal live shows and anthemic smash hits for the last decade as one of Australia’s most successful musical exports.
With Steele's background in The Sleepy Jackson and Littlemore's founding role in PNAU, the duo embarked on a sonic odyssey that has captivated audiences worldwide. Since their emergence, Empire of the Sun has transcended boundaries, blending alternative electronica with mesmerizing visuals to create an immersive musical experience unlike any other.

Their seminal debut album, Walking On A Dream, which the musicians described as "a spiritual road movie" spawned iconic singles “Walking On A Dream” and “We Are The People”. The critically acclaimed second LP, disco-pop Ice On The Dune featured “Alive” and “DNA” and saw the band tour the world. Third LP "Two Vines," saw the band welcoming guests like Lindsey Buckingham, members of David Bowie's band from the Blackstar sessions, and Wendy Melvoin from Prince & the Revolution and featured singles “High And Low” and “Way To Go”.
Their chart success extends far beyond their native Australia, with their albums achieving multi-platinum certifications across the globe. In addition to their commercial triumphs, the duo has garnered an impressive array of accolades, including eight ARIA Awards, two APRA Awards, and an APRA Billions Award. With over 5.5 million albums sold globally and a staggering 7.6 billion streams, Empire of the Sun's impact on the music industry is undeniable, solidifying their status as icons of the electronic music genre. 8 years since their last LP, 2024 sees the dawn of a new era. The journey continues…this time we’re going through “Changes”.

ELECTRONIC BITCHES The founder members of Electronic Bitches are Romano Porni and Funk Halen. They met in 2003, started playing together as a duo and after a while also began organising private parties. Later on they got the opportunity to organize Wednesdays nights at the Černota club, regular parties at the club Těsněvedle in Brno and following this they played their first gig at the Magion party. At that time Romano Porni was keeping his own vinyl shop, Luxus Records, where he met the next member of Electronic Bitches – DJ Trick. Since 2008 Electronic Bitches have expanded into a quartet with a new member – DJ Ibe.

At the beginning of 2007 Funk Halen attracted the attention of the owners of the club Perpetuum. They offered Electronic Bitches the opportunity to take care of Tuesday nights. They called these parties Electronic. The Electronic Bitches project had gained an official form and during Electronic’s existence they supported concert performance from Bruno Ferrari, Vítrholc, Robots in Disguise, Los Banditos and The World Domination. Later on, more offers came in for events such as like Itch My Hahaha, the Hradhouse festival, Elektra (Fléda) etc.

After a one-year period of organising parties at Perpetuum, Romano Porni started realising the plans and dreams of Electronic Bitches in their new party series called Shuk´n´Denc. For these shows they invited Czech live projects such as 1A2V1, DJ Ventolin, Miss Ucentou, Popper-C and 2Singles. Thank to cooperation with DJ dMIT.RY from Prague, they were able to at the first season of Shuk´n´Denc parties foreign guests like Kernefamilien from Denmark and Pete Carvell (UK). Since 2008 Electronic Bitches have regularly been inviting to their parties foreign guests - Rawfare live (SK), Tuco (UK), Diskokaine (AT), Bryan Cox (USA), Lazy Flow (F), Tyskerhar (Ger) and Supra1 (PL).

Electronic Bitches rose from the Brno underground, grew up during the totalitarian period and matured to the echoes of jingling keys. Their contemporary critical view of the Czech club scene urges them on to organising wild parties and, with their own sense of humour, they present talented producers and DJs with a similar feel and point of view.

Their source of inspiration is the 80´s period, the boom of rave and rap. They build their sets mostly on electro and bassline. They hate defining music by styles and genres and they cannot be included in any of them. They use Electro Cymbal as a description. Their sets are individual, with a great deal of improvisation and an atmosphere so dense, that dancefloor gets wet..

	
Big room sounds: big league DJ. During short but precision formed career Richard Dinsdale has achieved more than many can muster in a whole lifetime.

Talent spotted by Seb Fontaine, he sharpened his DJ skills at London’s long-missed notorious nightspot The Cross. Headhunted by Ministry Of Sound, his residency taught him the winning formula for grooves that chatter an international patter. A card carrying member of Mark Knight’s mighty Toolroom Records stable, his passport and dancefloors were both stamped heartily with approval no more than two years after his first release on Kinky Vinyl. Even Fatboy Slim has played a part, heralding a young Richard as a key peaktime weapon merchant within just a handful of releases.

Back to the future and the leagues are getting bigger. With nine weeks at number one on the Beatport house chart this spring, we’re talking Premiership. ‘DJ You Got My Love’ has been the ultimate disco dance injection 2011 so urgently needed, racking up Dinsdale airplay with all the appropriate headliners. And the goals keep coming... Get ready for remixes on Strictly Rhythm, big bombs on Spinnin’ and Toolroom Knights and collaborations with fellow influential players Byron Stingily and D Ramirez.

Sabre tooth but sophisticated, his calling card has been delivered to all corners from Kent to Korea. Armed with polished sound that conjures up memories of Morillo when Subliminal was a by-word for party perfection (and big rooms meant big feelings and even bigger moments), Richard’s sitting at the controls more confidently than ever before. Clattering percussion, spiked hooks, unpredictable instrumental flares and insatiable hip-swinging grooves, like Riva’s rustic funk or Angello’s dancefloor drama, he unites traditional house vibes with a razor sharp 21st century production for timeless dancefloor moments.

Evidence of this vibrant house flavour is everywhere, from the international dancefloors he commands to your very own TV set. His track ‘Boom Boom’ has just been signed by Fox TV and last year his music became the soundtrack to promote South Africa during the world cup... Talk about household name.

Need more evidence? Ask Cathy Guetta, she demanded his Toolroom smasher ‘Feel Like Dancing’ for her ‘Unighted’ mix last year. You can ask Ibizan carnival maestro Wally Lopez, too. Rubbing roster shoulders with fellow next gen headliners Rene Amez and Avicii, Richard is now signed to Wally’s Factomania agency and the pair are plotting a sizzling 2011 summer on the White Isle and beyond. They’re plotting in the studio, too; check the lavish Latino ‘La La Track’, a hooky vocal roller that oozes slinky bass, it packs a potent punch as potency and power as Tim Deluxe’s ‘It Just Won’t Do’.

Yes, things are most definitely getting bigger... And bigger. In the time between cooking up grooves for labels such as Hotfingers, 303 Lovers, Flamingo, Toolroom and Ministry Of Sound, he’s plotting the next step in Dinsdale dancefloor domination: Tanzanite Records. A joint partnership with his brother Simon, Richard is now writing a new chapter and creating his own distinctive brand. A brand where he can fine tune his A&R abilities and help develop emerging artists such as Jeremy Joshua and Alex Topspin & Dmit Kitz. With its striking blue motif and meticulous musical motive, the label also boasts the presence of Wally Lopez, Hook N Sling and chart busters Sam Obernik and Paul Harris. And, as time goes by they’ll be taking their rough glitter and heads down glamour to clubs across the globe. With Richard’s previous success with Ministry Of Sound and Toolroom, the potential for Tanzanite is as clear as his music...
