Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Macca is a name that will need no introduction to Skankandbass fans.  The channel mainstay has been featured countless times as far back as 2011, both on his own and with long-time production partner Loz Contreras.  Having made appearances on Shogun, Spearhead, Integral, Fokuz and Liquicity among others, we are extremely excited to finally welcome him to S&B Introducing.  On ‘Regeneration / Rattle Dub’ he explores the darker side of his sound, recruiting frequent collaborator Cnof on the B-Side.

After making a name for himself with releases on Jungle Cakes, Monk Audio, Breeze Records and Bagged & Tagged among others; he now presents his most accomplished two tracker to date on Skankandbass Introducing. With ‘Rise Up / Out Of Kilter’ he exhibits the sound design which has made him one of the scene’s most exciting prospects.
