Every now and then, life calls us to slow down. To halt the plans, thoughts and responsibilities clouding our minds. To take a moment of silence. To close your eyes. To breath deeply. As summer slows its pace, the cosmic energy invites us into a deeper state of reflection. Thus, we were thrilled when Toronto artist Sam Zenn approached us with the idea to create an exclusive ambient set.

“Life can be very challenging at times,” he explained. “It’s great to have a chill and uplifting sound to lay back, relax and/or meditate with, especially since nothing connects stronger with our true inner beings other than music… food for the soul!”

Sam Zenn needs little introduction. As a DJ, he is a true chameleon, adapting to any dance floor put before him. We are pleased to present our latest chapter from DJ Joma (@jomadjay). His path to house music began 25 years ago when a friend of his gave him Sasha's BBC Radio One Essential Mix-tape. In recent years, he has taken his music to many places and Eastern Europe, especially Montenegro and Croatia, where in 2019 he performed for 12 nights consecutively at the Croatian Open ATP Tennis Tournament in Umag within various Beach clubs and VIP cocktail lounges. Although he has developed a style that suits perfectly for the venues he likes to play (Beach Clubs, Cocktail Bars, VIP Lounges, Exclusive Restaurants), what DJ Joma values most is that he's focused on enhancing the overall experience rather than imposing his own style as an artist. 
His mix is something a little deep and dreamy.

Karl Pilbrow's passion and appreciation for music has been a lifelong affair. Originally coming from New Zealand, he moved to Melbourne in early 2012.

In the years following Karl began to experience the outdoor festival culture the city is renowned for, he could not help but fall in love with electronic music. This new-found affection took him to all parts of the globe, intent on learning more about the outdoor music culture, the communities involved, and most importantly… the music.

Fast forward to today and you’ll find one of the best exponents for Progressive House in Melbourne. Atmospheric, melodic, uplifting and groovy, Karl has dedicated himself to refining a sound that is true to himself and the music that inspires him.

In a career that only began three years ago Karl’s meteoric rise already seen many highlights. These include playing sunset on Sunset at Rainbow Serpent 2019, playing after Nick Warren (UK), warming up for Roger Martinez (NED), numerous sets at Burning Man 2017 and 2019 , performances at Babylon Festival and a residency with Melbourne outfit Coco Poco Loco.
