Fade 

Our third artist of this January roster is the illustrious DJ, producer and Of Paradise Co-Founder Fade, who has been making a name for herself in the electronic music scene with trademark bass-heavy sounds in both her productions and DJ sets. Blending intense rhythms with emotive melodies, her hard-hitting style has marked her out as an artist playing by her own rules.

She hosts regular radio shows on Movement Radio and dublab, and has previously been on the air with prominent stations Rinse FM, Reprezent, and Operator Radio, as well as providing mixes for the likes of Fold, Bubble Bath, Hypnotic Groove, and Bicep.

Having previously released music on her own imprint, Fade is currently working on her debut EP which is set for release later this year, and is working with artists on forthcoming releases for her recently launched label Badlands.

DJ Autumn or Ell is the label manager of Banoffee Pies Records and co-founder of Headroom Festival. He has a varied approach to dance music with deep-rooted influences in UK sounds, minimal house, broken beat, and techno.


With the majority of appearances under the moniker of Banoffee Pies at shows and festivals across Europe, Australia, and the UK, pushing free-styled party sets. He is now exploring other experimental dance music with various radio appearances on NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Balamii, and the bimonthly "Smoke & Mirrors” show on NOODS. 

For this mix, he tried to keep the selection “functional” without going in too many directions that would make the mood shift. He reckoned that maintaining linear things is a challenge for him. With that in mind, he created a mix that gradually guides us through dub-fueled elements leaning in on the 140BPM sound sphere. The mix includes some of his favourite club tools, forthcoming music from other artists and friends, and even two unreleased BPR productions. You definitely don’t want to sleep on this one.
