Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the fantastic world of Da Iguana. After several releases on cool labels such as Random Collective or Serenades, Playground Records is honored to present it’s 39th reference from this talented French producer. ‘Sombras y Sueños’, is not only the name of the release but also expresses part of Pierre's personal biography. He spent some time living in Mexico where he could absorb the oniric language of rituals and the telluric forces of nature.
Before jumping in, we want to warn you about the magnetic power of this album.

Five original tracks full of hypnotic rhythms, downtempo feelings, post-funk groove, organic instrumentations and folk insinuations that build one immersive imaginary jungle. A place out of time, a nowhere land. The perfect scenario for a slow motion dance out of the ordinary everyday reality.
On the remix dimension of this multiverse, Mexican Cabizbajo delivers a more housy version of ‘Sombra Selvática’ and Guatemalan Di Laif goes deep on ‘Reg Sprits’.
From now on, words are unnecessary. Like the king of funk used to say: “free your mind and your ass will follow”

Liveset recorded on Friday 25th of June, Velvet Soup, Fusion Festival 2025.

It's my first recording of a new liveset I am working on, a big jam with loops and stems of many of my projects from the past 6 years. Every set, its structure is improvised, I bring a little dubby and organic touch with with an electric kalimba plugged on a pedal, and midi synths.

Thank you to the little happy and fresh crowd I did not expect for the opening on Wednesday. I felt privileged to experience a liveset like this in Fusion. It's a little raw, and full of mistakes, but still enjoyable I think, hope you like it :)

Dear friends, we are delighted to present to  you our very first compilation: 'Mtsvane’ in Georgia language means Green, the color Green carries the vibration of growth, harmony, new beginnings, health, renewal, harmony, hope, peace, and environment.  Exactly one year ago we started our new year with lots of positive intentions, unstoppable musical rituals, love, endless dances, and hugs.  At that time we couldn’t possibly imagine any of the outcomes we all are dealing with right now.  An idea we are about to share with you has always been there.  We have been circling around it, and 2020 made it all more clear it was time for action.  It was time to dedicate ourselves to something bigger than all of us, and we choose to do so with what we love. 
With this movement, we’d like to spread the word into our community that we all are capable of doing more, with what we love. We believe that the only way to say thanks to our Mother Earth, who suffers so much especially last period, who has provided us home for free, trees to lay under, sunshine above us, oceans to swim in, and the moon to guide us at night; is to leave something after us. 
We will transfer all the revenue for global reforestation. 
We have teamed up with  a non-profit organization,
 ‘’One tree planted’’. 
 After collecting the revenue for the planting season,  everyone involved in this project will choose a region and every dollar will plant a tree.
