In our 7th podcast, we'll hear from Janko, aka Veganwurst, of the Black Canvas Beats crew. Based in Prague, the collective has been becoming hard to miss as they’ve been sending out their funky vibrations on the local party scene – from their infamous Klubovna afterparties, to raves in and around the city.

Veganwurst has been dipping his toes in the DJing waters for the better part of the last two years. He explores different concepts that fit into a mix of energetic yet sophisticated and groovy techno.  We asked him how he approached this mix. “After long two years, we are finally able to meet people we like and enjoy ourselves. I wanted to create a set that celebrates this energy and channels my gratitude for the opportunity to finally play music with and for people again. I have also been listening to a lot of breakbeats and electro recently and I started to fall for the energy and variability they bring to the table, so there is a bit of that in this set too."
