Hey, I’m David aka Whitysworld.

I'm a co-creator of Sunday Sunday Zurich and APIC. I grew up with music all around me - listening to old rock and funk classics with my dad or watching my uncle DJ from behind the decks. That early spark never left.

I draw inspiration from all kinds of genres and musical moods, with a strong pull toward the eclectic world of electronic music - from sexy slow basslines of Guy Gerber, mystical wizardry of Damian Lazarus and Crosstown Rebels, the funk and drive of Life & Death's DJ Tennis and Luke Alessi, the effortless suaveness of Butch, or the dreaminess of Lee Burridge. Add a touch of melodic magic from Innervisions and Diynamic, and you’ll get a sense of where I’m coming from.

From slow, funky beginnings to high-energy dancefloor moments to hypnotic and deep parts, I like to evolve my sets with intention - always guided by a good beat, always keeping it interesting. Every set is a little journey - you're welcome to come along for the ride and dance!
