Mélopée Records is a french label founded in 2019 & inspired by a vintage side where artists are in love with drum machines & synths. Presenting music ranging between Italo, Disco, Dark Disco & Electro their latest release from the talented Brandski echoes these stylistic principles perfectly.

Mathias aka « Brandski » is from Toulouse and spends most of his time on his passions which include being a producer, live performer, DJ, and artistic director within a young associative label: DryWet.

A first electroclash music (Plaisir Secret) with an uncompromising groove and carried by shivering leads.The music "Désir Synthétique" calls for a new Italo wave ! Andreas Rund completes this beautiful EP with a haunting electrobreak remix.

Through this release, Brandski's musical style becomes one with the electronic owl.

A.B.D aka Mario Venditti found his path on his productions after listening to a bunch of records that featured artists like Masters at Work and Dj Gregory among others, taking from that moment on tribal house as main influence. With the years, Mario has developed his own personal style by getting closer to other genres like Downtempo and Balearic.

AEON is nearing its 50th release. But before we reach that milestone, we would like to share a fine record by the label boss himself, Alex Niggemann. The inspiration behind this release was found in experimenting with a vocoder. Alex explains: “society might have us all as robots if we don’t take care to be open minded - both musically and in general. That was the inspiration for the record and it was great fun to make”. A view that fits the current zeitgeist perfectly.

The ‘Technology’ vibe is inspired by late 80ies breakbeat. Once the beat is in full range with the sparkling & upclimbing synths, pictures of vintage B-boys & girls, making their acrobatic dance moves, are projected in our minds. A slight twist brings the classic Juno 6 lead synth, characterizing the main part.
