With the World Cup Football starting in Russia 2 days prior to the release and crowds turning to their nations roots supporting their country and teams in a chauvinistic way, we as an Amsterdam based label felt the need to support the thriving Dutch techno scene, bringing you Amsterdam based talented producer VNTM, with his debut EP on Filth on Acid and his first ever EP to be released. On remix duties one of 'Amsterdam's finest' and friend of the label: Olivier Weiter. It's unfortunate that the Dutch are not part of the World Cup, otherwise this story would have been perfect. Nevertheless we will tear down your dance floor. This is Filth on Acid NOW!

Wild Cards makes its triumphant return with again a slew of stompers that every DJ should have up its sleeve.

Kicking things of is Heerhorst with Outer Rim. This Hamburg representative is giving us a galloping tom groove combined with a melodic affair like no other. Turning eventually in a detuned frenzy, this A1 is sure to deliver the goods.

Elusive Minds is the secretive moniker of one off Holland’s biggest talents. Lost Souls delivers a melancholic opera like no other. Surely one for the dark, brooding club nights this winter.

Duss returns once again with Fifth. The Polish duo again showcase their mastery of the studio with a deep melodic stronghold with a pushing low end. As always peak time material.

Steve Slight and label head honcho Rob Hes, go way back, making this return of a familiar face all the better. Spiral Galaxy transfers us straight to late night outdoor rooftop sessions. A stomping groover, just how we like it.

AudioVirus is back with his track Slow Climax. One for the books!

On closing duties is Gero Jansen with Out of Space, a hidden gem drenched in analog flavor. All tracks are tried and tested and surely are firing on all cylinders. Enjoy!

'Sync Forward returns to present another knowledgeably produced composition by German duo Pain&Panic with their Collider EP, and a remix by label owners Remotion.

The opening track 'Collider' is a well-produced composition, exquisitely detailed, with its dark synths and textures echoing alongside a groovy beat. Abstract and spacious, it gets all the elements right to create a compelling dance floor techno track. '

Swedish DJ/Producer Christian Nielsen debuts on Maceo Plex's Ellum imprint with the ‘Love Struck’ EP this May.

The four track EP continues a strong start to 2020 with releases from Raxon and Avision and, true to the label’s form, is all about weighty, characterful cuts from Nielsen, an artist who has previously chalked up releases for the likes of Kompakt, Of Unsound Mind and Play it Down.

The titular opener of ‘Love Struck’ is a swaggering, low slung affair with a growling bassline underpinning a pitch shifted vocal refrain and piercing rave stabs - a mutant beast which fuses techno, Garage and rave aesthetics in anthemic style. The skeletal rhythms and gritty acid flair of ‘For Myself’ follow in a track that, through some nifty builds, manages to pull off a big room energy as much as it does a basement vibe. ’Switch’ is next up and, with a rock solid groove, vocal sample and subaquatic tones, displays just how well Nielsen can create a monster with few elements. The heaviest track, ‘Pulse’, rounds off ‘Love Struck’ with a huge, padding kick drum and resonant percussive lead doing the heavy lifting while counterpointed by judiciously employed warm, cossetting jazz flute licks
