This is a free mixtape of old material that never saw a release. Feels odd to finally be putting these tracks out there after all these years, but I wanted to draw a line under this material before I properly embark on writing my first 'real' LP.

Jesse Perez not only published already on labels such as I'm A House Gangster and Hot Creations, on his own imprint Mr. Nice Guy Records the man from Miami released stuff with titles like "This Hoe Gonna Get Some Dick“ or "Slangin' That D“. Damn right, the American producer and DJ call a spade a spade and is following his own style since several years now. After he returned Ellen Aliens "The Kiss“ (BPC265) with a Caribbean-tinged remix last year, Perez will debut with his first "THOT EP“ on BPitch Control. 
Perez himself calls his style Bump-N-Grind. And the title track shows already why: "THOT“ is one of those perfect Miami tracks with a wicked bass line and lots of old school driven hip-hop attitude, to which you can actually dance pretty contagious. Just as "Divine Intoxication“. Here a circular bass line moves around with a lascivious verve while Perez demonstrates his passion for direct percussion and nasty rhythms. The melodic addition isn’t new to his game, but a hallmark of his productions. The last track "Bukkake Challenge“ closes the EP not only with some animal madness – in the true sense of the word – but reinforces once again why Perez’ productions are the perfect choice for people who listen to hip-hop and also enjoying House Music. Released for free today as the 50th release via NEST/OWSLA, This Is The Investigation is a gift to Moody Good fans but it also conveys a message. The six productions from the EP act as a calm before the storm, a precursory body of music that precedes a heavier, more menacing release in months to come.

Lucinee is a Hamburg based Techno DJ and Producer. She made her first appearances in the beginning of 2015 and quickly drew attention due to her powerful, energetic and uncompromising Style.
Lucinee also started to focus on her own productions using only her analogue and digital hardware synthesizer setup to record tracks and has recently released her debut EP “Black Moon” (12”) on Snork Enterprises and contributed a track for the Hamburg based Vinyl label “Ohne kommerziellen Wert.

Matrheim is an artist who built himself around music in his early ages thanks to his father.
Pushed forward by the notion of music sharing, he creates his own label, Eradys Records, with his best friend, Monsieur Nobody.
He is currently working with Abbey Road Studio on Paris to improve his production technique.
Supported by Dax J, Rebekah or I Hate Models, he likes to play with a mix brutal techno and rythmed, his melodic universe has no limit, all this strongly maintained with an acid wave.

Tøtal representing the header and darker side of techno In 2017 he founded his own label "Death Bell Records" where he released 8 EP and 1 LP also he used to work with another labels.

Making his long overdue debut of Sudbeat is an artist whose fingerprints can be seen in the very fabric of dance music itself, Robert Babicz. 

Robert’s sonic journey began many moons ago in his native Germany. He made his first track on borrowed equipment in 1992, and from that moment, he knew this was to be his life. Gaining notoriety as live act Rob Acid in those early days gave Robert a solid grounding in dance music, laying the foundations for his exceptional studio craft as an in-demand remixer and mastering engineer. Blessed with having synaesthesia, Robert can literally see sound and hear colour, and this is reflected in his vivid and wildly creative music. 

Robert begins his EP with ‘Heartwave’ a typically solid melodic tapestry laden with bespoke moments of wondrous joy. The low-end might of the opening bars quickly joined by rattling percussion and subtle melancholy pads. Next, we experience Roberts vision of ‘Electric Loneliness’. Stark kicks melt into rubbery bass as stripped back percussion gives room for the bulbous pads and melodics to paint their sombre picture. Finally, ‘Ectomorph Sun’ dawns with menace in its heart. Spiky bass notes are kept restrained ever ready for mayhem as epic orchestral textures lift the mood.
