The latest release from Antrim’s Or Two Strangers finds the label presenting the fourth installment of its ‘Strangers’ series. Conceptualized in 2019 and carefully curated by label boss Antrim, the ‘Strangers’ series is one of the progressive genre’s most anticipated EP compilations. With three edition’s running across 2019-2021, the noteworthy releases saw outstanding contributions from Andrés Moris, Antrim, Claudio Cornejo, Greenage, Ivan Aliaga, Jesuan M, Juan Sapia, Nicolas Rada, Kamilo Sanclemente and more, while support and play from Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo followed. Now, continuing the series as 2023 approaches it’s final quarter, label boss Antrim has once again curated the fourth edition which features new music from (in order of appearance): Antrim, Fran Garay, Agustin Pietrocola, Melodiam (AR), Rocío Portillo & Facucio, Alan Schultz and Nicolas Viana.

Making his label debut with the second selection is Fran Garay. As one of Argentina’s emerging talents, Villa Mercedes resident Fran Garay caught the attention of progressive house fans in 2020 on the strength of early productions for 3rd Avenue and Droid9 South America. Fast forward three years and Fran lays claim to an impressive resume, with recent projects for Droid9, Forensic Records and Mango Alley being the most notable. Continuing on this upwards trajectory, Fran now makes his Or Two Strangers debut with the peak-time flavoured ‘Machine’.

Bar 25 Music proudly presents a new chapter of "Gone," a collaborative remix project for the work of K-Paul and Sam Sumner. Two exceptional remixes of the track showcase the unique styles of renowned artists.

The first remix is crafted by Westbam/ML, a legendary DJ and producer known for his groundbreaking contributions to electronic music. Westbam, also known as Maximilian Lenz, is a highly influential figure in the world of electronic music. He is a renowned DJ, producer, and co-founder of Berlin's Low Spirit Recordings label. WestBam's career began in the 1980s, and he quickly gained recognition for his innovative mixing techniques.

In 2000, WestBam produced "U" for the European soccer championship Euro 2000. He celebrated Mayday's 10th anniversary in 2001 and released the album "Right On" in 2002, featuring the hit "Oldschool, Baby" with Nena. His DJ mix compilation "WestBam Super DJ Mix Elektropogo Jam 133.3" followed in 2003.

WestBam's influence on the techno and house music scene is undeniable, and his creative energy remains vibrant, making him a true trendsetter in the industry. His remix of "Gone" infuses the track with his iconic style, adding a distinctive touch that has left a lasting impact on the electronic music scene.

The second remix comes from the skilled hands of Tobi Neumann, a revered figure in the electronic music realm. Tobi Neumann's interpretation of "Gone" showcases his exceptional ability to transform tracks into new sonic dimensions, offering a fresh perspective on the music. Multitalent Tobi Neumann lives in Berlin. He'd already made himself a name as producer of commercial jingles and movie soundtracks when he got infected with electronic music at the '95 Love Parade. Soon he'd become resident DJ at Munich's Ultraschall II where he hosted the legendary Flokati House Club since 1998.

Tobi Neumann is a part of Sven Väth's Cocoon family. His productions for Chicks On Speed, 2Raumwohnung, Miss Kittin a.o. made Tobi Neumann one of the driving forces in the German house and electro scene.

This release not only pays homage to the label's hometown but also represents the vibrant and ever-evolving spirit of electronic music in the area. The remixes of "Gone" provide a captivating musical journey that is sure to resonate with listeners and keep them dancing into the early hours.

Coming off the highly-touted ‘Clean the Turbines (The Remixes)' EP just before the holidays, When We Dip XYZ is proud to kickstart a new era for the label with the ‘Superhero' EP by INVŌKER, including a remix from Motip White.

Hailing from La Réunion and now based in Paris, INVŌKER has crafted a sound of his own in recent years, marrying innovative concepts, memorable synth work and a remarkable sonic research in drums and textures. Siamese, Innervisions and TAU are home to a few of his recent outings.

Motip White, a mainstay of the imprint, is establishing himself as the latest in a long line of Cologne legends. His songwriting prowess, complemented by top-notch sound design, has been featured on Innervisions, Frau Blau, Anims and When We Dip XYZ.

The title-track, ‘Superhero' is an immediate attention-grabber with its tight groove, upbeat ad-libs and glitchy risers. As the tune develops, the celestial pad and main riff unfold into an ecstatic crescendo.

The constantly evolving arpeggio of ‘Requiem for a Detox' serves as an invitation to an indelible trip. Soothing vocal touches serve as backdrop, building in intensity and sighing in relief as the different chapters of the track succeed one another.

Sprinkling his own vocals to the mix, Motip White comes in with hard bass stabs, driving hi-hats and a haunting chord progression. The new full-blown synths added by White play a game of hide and seek with the arp from the original, a symmetry between climaxes and linking thread.

Now on the cusp of their third release, New York-based imprint Ninetofire prepare to release the ‘First Light’ album – courtesy of American producing trio N/UM (@numlive), composed of Emil Bovbjerg (vocals, synths), Elias Meister (guitar, electronics) and Jeremy Loucas (drum machines, samples).

After igniting the New Year with a vibrant performance at the Cityfox New Year's Eve Party at Avant Gardner in NYC, the dynamic live collective N/UM presents the EP 'First Light', their latest release on Ninetofire.

Once again N/UM distills their live and improvised studio sessions into extraordinary and timeless productions. 'First Light' blurs the boundaries between Minimal, Melodic, Deep House, creating something entirely new.

Enriched by the warm fusion of live instruments and voice with some of the most classic electronic instruments around, the trio's sound is a hypnotic, dreamlike journey with multiple layers of depth. From the ethereal washes of effects-laden electric guitars to poignant analog synthesizers, pulsating modular gear, captivating vocals, and rhythm-driving drum machines. The EP is an authentic work emanating from the heart of New York.
