"Figarus" lidera el EP y le da nombre, un tema creado para la pista de baile con una mística única y buen Groove para bailar de principio a fin pero con un toque intelectual y excepcional como siempre está acostumbrado el gran Fernando Olaya. La armonía te sumerge en un viaje espiritual desde el principio, tan pronto como alcanza el desarrollo y el clímax, se rompe con una melodía única, futurista, moderna y atemporal que hace de esta pieza musical una obra maestra.


"Camaguey" el 2do tema basado en sonidos latinos con Groove y una armonía exótica, el nombre se basó en una ciudad de Cuba que el artista siempre ha querido visitar y como el sello es cubano, le pareció asombroso incluirlo. Tiene un tratado tímbrico específico que vale la pena considerar sobre la pista de baile mundial, con un ritmo muy tribal que te transporta a un viaje en el tiempo donde predominan la jungla y las cavernas, sin duda una pista adelantada a su tiempo.

El 9 de marzo, siete comunidades de la Comarca Andina comenzaron a arder. El fuego se propagó con fuerza y cientos de personas y animales se vieron afectados. Según la información oficial, más de 500 familias perdieron sus hogares debido a la intensidad de los seis focos de incendio en el sur de Argentina, en las provincias patagónicas de Chubut y Río Negro. 

"Grito Del Sur" surge como una propuesta artística colectiva integrada por productores musicales, fotógrafos y artistas digitales, cuya misión es ayudar a las familias y zonas naturales afectadas por los incendios en el sur de Argentina. 

Todo la recaudación se destinará a los fondos de la ONG "Bioreconstruimos", un grupo de bioconstructores voluntarios (contratistas, arquitectos, constructores y otros profesionales) que trabajan incansablemente y ad honorem para reconstruir rápidamente y ayudar a las familias a recuperar sus hogares.

Edu Imbernon's Eklektisch welcomes Rafael Cerato (Diynamic, Suara, Stil Vor Talent) back to the family this October and he's joined by two in-form remixers in Polymath founder Third Son and São Paulo titan Victor Ruiz. Brazilian producer Ruiz turns in a monster rework of 'Mirrors Of Life', he's crafted a nine minute epic, which builds from a brooding intro to an arpeggiator-laden crescendo around the six minute mark. He closes with an uplifting synth-driven section that is sure to raise many a roof.  It's a journey in the true sense of the word. Check it out only on When We Dip today!

We continue to deliver our message of truth. This time we invite two German titans to the fray as hyped and fast-rising newcomer Julian Wasserman and longstanding wire-tapping veteran Florian Kruse make their debut on the label.

Both known for deep pulsating emotive tracks, both boasting discographies that share some of the same labels - Stil Vor Talent, Last Night On Earth, Kompakt - it was only a matter of time before Wasserman and Kruse crossed paths in the studio. But no one could have predicted an outcome like immense geographical excursion.

Raising in drama throughout, first we look 'Nord' as a pulsating kick and bass plunge gradually build up into minimal deep funk groove that's tailored for big systems and a creepy topline that's tailored for taking your crowd cruising longitudes they didn't know existed.
It's backed by its polar opposite 'Sued' where a similar stripped-back dynamic is applied with added sw eeps of pads and precision timed twinkles on the fills. Star-lit and stately, this one was tailored for the most late night adventures. Finally we take in the entire latitude and spin around the world on 'Breitengrad'.

A much more persistent and harder-edged tune with more bassline and synth mutations than a nuclear landfill, it's palpitating, pensive and highly strung in tension.

And leaves us hungry for more adventures. Set coordinates to stun, as we leave boundaries behind us, as usual.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.
