Dark already in the name “The Reprieve” shows little aspects of mercy but yet delivers a gloomy atmosphere with pushing beats and energetic breaks. The melody is powerful and memorable alike.

Iranian producer Arash Shadram joins forces with Sophijan to deliver one of the key tracks of the year “Troubled Sleep” that promises a night of insomnia and intensity! A dooming and gloomy hook pushed further by an uncompromising beat and frantic arpeggiators are a guaranteed banger for the dance floors.

The most melodic track of this release comes with “Transcendence”. Melodic Techno at it's finest with an epic hook, yearning synths and releasing breaks.

Arash Shadram & Sohpijan - The Reprieve [Ritter Butzke Studio]

Fur Coat’s Oddity imprint seeks to continue its quality musical output. For the thirteenth release of the label, they welcome Esoteric Circle who present a stacked package of Melodic Techno, with two remixes to boot.

Esoteric Circle is born from the minds of two French brothers, Julien and Raphael Piacentino. Bringing their emotions together into a new and innovative sound, they focus on elaborate synth melodies and minimal percussive sounds to create tracks aimed directly at the dance-floor.

The Parisian duo present four original tracks on the EP, the first of which is ¨Odissea¨. Characterised by deep basslines and moving melodic progressions this sets the tone for the EP, transporting you to the deeper moments on the dance-floor. Moving forward “Matina del Amor” offers a faster paced setting, agile percussion programming pushes the track onwards taking the listener with it on its journey.

Lastly “Tomorrow Is In Your Hands” the title track mixes up the offerings. Opting for a two step style beat, this switches the script perfectly, developing synths over the top of the off kilter beat provide an emotive and thought provoking tracks. Lastly “Night Appearance” rounds of the package, a slower and impassioned track which brings set ending moments to mind.

Joining the brothers on the package are Julian Wassermann and Remcord, neither are strangers to the Oddity family and both provide remixes of “Odissea” and “Tomorrow Is In Your Hands” respectively.
Julian’s remix provides a lighter edition to the original, whilst Remcord’s remix offers a darker and deeper sound, both dovetailing on the record nicely. 

Esoteric Circle have Putting forward a strong and soundly compiled EP. An expansive pack, offering a large amount and tying in perfectly with the sound that Oddity has been making its name with.

Cards on the table, Murat Uncuoglu has been an honorary Seladorian for longer than any of us probably care to admit.

A leading light on the Turkish Electronic Music scene for almost 3 decades, the Istanbul based Producer has recently been strengthening his reputation around the World with a string of releases on such esteemed labels as Innervisions, Exit Strategy, Multinotes and his own blossoming Isolate imprint which he helms alongside his longtime partner and friend, Alican.

Now he adds Selador to his already impressive CV courtesy of the triumphant ‘Eye To Eye’ EP - Three original productions of equal merit and potency that all shine brightly on their own meteoric pathways.

The title track arrives into the ring brimming with swagger, delivering a first-round flurry of punches few will recover from but in the unlikely event you’re not immediately on the floor, ’Compass’ then lands another lethal combination - a proper pair of mind melters that will bring tears to your eyes and a wobble to your jaw. And whilst we have you on the ropes, before you can catch your breath, ‘Couscous’ moves in for the kill. Just take it on the chin, it’s time to throw the towel in.

Cologne producer “Ausilio Jó” is starting off this compilation with “I Miss You” - a housy, light and catchy tune with intriguing flying arps and pushing piano stabs.

“Galestian” contributes the etheral melodic vocal track “Divine Within” with a pushing rhythm that exaltates in a meditative break with mystic sound design.

“Wacko & Leedman” from Great Britain deliver with “Vex” a massive dancefloor banger with and energetic sequencer and out lashing portamento synthlines.

German producer LEPPIN returns within the Manual label family after some time of absence. This time he's not alone but he teams up with Amy Baile for this EP's title track, the massive and intense 'Rushed'. A full on melodic techno banger! Yöurr takes care of remix duties by transforming 'Rushed' into an eerie slow moving indie dance cut. Very classy and very cool this one.

On the flip side LEPPIN goes solo and delights us with 'Wallride'. A proper infectious climactic dance floor mover. And as if that's not enough you've got Frank Sonic & Larsun Hesh on board, giving 'Wallride' their very own interpretation.

A pretty intense release this one. Showing once again the versatility of the long running Dutch Manual Music imprint.

The first V.A. sampler from Hyenah’s Watergate 27 mix is ready.

The DJ/producer is a renowned tastemaker, passionate about sounds from across the house spectrum. For his addition to the Watergate mix canon, he selects an inspiring range of artists, while highlighting emerging African and Afro Deutsch talent.

Amongst the exclusive collection of tracks is Kollektive Turmstrasse’s spiralling deep melodic makeover of Adana Twin ‘Jupiter’, while Sabb & Black Circle’s ‘Vega’ brings the uplifting piano house vibes. RISE crew member JAMIIE links with Stil Vor Talent associate Niko Schwind for ‘Suwedi’, a fascinating seven-minute trip that builds drama and intrigue in equal parts thanks to the soaring string break in the break. Emmanuel Satie collaborates with vocalist Nanghiti for ‘Forever More’ a startling track that will take your breath away, as delicate pads and strings amplify the emotion from Nanghiti’s unforgettable vocal. 

The ever-reliable Sascha Braemer delivers a pearl of a track with ‘No Way’, one of those cuts made for end-of-night moments, resplendent with tear-jerker vox. Rising South African artist Da Capo contributes one of those stirring, string-laden melodic house compositions that every DJ needs. Complimenting the emotion-charged energy of the sampler, Soweto’s Fka Mash has crafted ‘Hazel’, a beautiful chord-driven addition, that still packs plenty of low-end chunk with its percussion.
