Little Invoice Boy

A dark, martial anthem retelling the 1931 siege of Kufra. I wanted to capture the grit of the resistance against the fascists , specifically the legend of the "Hobbled Ones" who tied themselves to the ground to ensure they would die standing rather than retreat. Astra Militarum vibes. I have no agenda and bear no ill will to anyone - just retelling the story to keep the memory alive. 

The hook is literally the well known war cry "مرحب بالجنة، جت تدنى"  loosely translated to English. I could have changed it to something else,  but I felt that it would insult their memory and trivialise what they went through. They were not on a conquest or invading someone's territory, they were defending their land and way of life. Just like the Italians used to cry "Tutti eroi o tutti accoppati!" at the Piave river, this along with "We win, or we die" is the Libyan resistance cry.

I kept putting this off as it was quite difficult to make - kept crying.
