This was written for my 15yo niece Cynthia Johnson for encouragement and comfort through a difficult Teenage transition and for teenage girls everywhere to learn God’s grace and love for them.

The Perfect Love

Gold leaves glowing in The Fathers Fall perfection 
The wind wraps around to remind of His protection 
The waterfall brings promise of His refreshing grace 
Living in His presence His hand is in this place

The trees stand tall to remind He will not falter 
His peace breathes calm in the ripples of the water 
The whispers of the breeze bring rest in His embrace 
Living in His presence His Hand is in this place

A robin’s call to Heaven
The release of scent from lavender
The Lilies curve in pleasure
At the touch of His Hand

Shimmer on the water dancing with His Blessings 
Warmth from the sun small reflection of His Glory 
The leaves clap in joy as we give The Father praise

This was written in response to an amazing Fall day in November 2013 with my husband on a perfect lake in Cleveland, Georgia

In pictures of yesterday
Awaken sweet moments in time

Search Your Heart

Hi!  My name is Eve and I am blessed to be a daughter of our precious Heavenly Father.  
I feel called to be His Hands and Feet and to serve to bless others through the gifts He has given.  
I pray that these words He has blessed me will also bless you.

A little background:
I have been singing since I can remember.  I was very fearful of singing for others and so would shy away from opportunities to sing in front of a congregation after High School.  In the late 90's, I felt called to join my local Church choir and decided that I just couldn't do it.  4 Years later I would be diagnosed with a rare disease called Paraganglioma which required surgery.  In 2007, another surgery would be required which would remove my right vagus nerve.  Afterward I could not sing at all.  I was devastated.  Every worship service would be heart-wrenching for me because I knew what I was capable of prior to my surgery.  Over the course of the years to follow and many prayers from family and friends, my voice would gradually gain strength.  In 2012, a family setback would teach me to be fully dependent on the Grace and Love of our Heavenly Father.  Through this, He showed me how much He Loved me and He gave me a task.  It was in May of 2012 that I was given the creative outlet of Songwriting.  I had tried Songwriting before but could never seem to put anything together on my own, but with the help of The Holy Spirit who poured into me, the lyrics poured out of me like a river.  So now, after learning the piano and working to learn the guitar, I am writing FOR HIM.  TO HIM.  He is my inspiration, He is my King.  My voice gets stronger every day, and my Love for Him continues to grow.
