BROUGHT TOGETHER BY A COMMON DESTINY....

Four years ago, in 2008, a notorious hardstyle duo formed. After Jamaz and Tippy performed their debut B2B set, which saw them bouncing off each other’s vibes on the decks, the Energized Hardstyle Duo (EHD) was born. Famous for their energetic and uplifting performances the Duo play a combination of UK, Dutch & Italian Hardstyle sets. 

Recognised as the West Midlands number 1 Hardstyle Duo, Jama...z and Tippy can boast a growing breed of loyal fans. With unparalleled local support they are now residents at Universal Hardcore & Spunkys Hereford, winning the Golden glow stick awards at Spunkys for best Hardstyle Act in 2010. 

The Duo have performed sets at some of the top clubs and events around the UK, including Bionic, Ravers Reunited, Totally Lost It, Horizon, Zion, Phantasy island and Energy Island, playing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry like The Noisecontrollers, Activator, Toneshifterz, Juice & Cally, Brian.M & McBunn, Mark Eg and The Yofridiz to name but a few. Now pushing the boundaries of the harder styles, the EHD have secured sets alongside some of the UK’s top Hardcore DJ’s including Joey Riot, Kurt, Re-Con, Squad-E,Breeze,Dougal, Sharkey Kev Energy. Their acclaim has spread to International waters and in 2010 the EHD performed at HTID In The Sun in lorret de mar, Spain. 

The EHD are aspiring producers, with a growing strength for the harder sound, committed to their own production within the studio. Boasting a recent collaboration with Joey Riot, the pair co-created an authentic Hardstyle remix of Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night”. This followed on from two other collaborations with DJ Yoz producing “Pray” and a remix of Tomcrafts “Loneliness”. 

The duo are no strangers to the studio and Jamaz’s first tune with DJ Yoz - back in 2008 - was a remix of “Set You Free”. The re-tuned track received favourable acclaim, being played by none others than Brain.M & McBunn. Meanwhile, Tippy & DJ Hitman have created two tracks “Disco Shit” and also a remix of “Where’s Your Head At” 

Jamaz is the owner of Energized Soundsystem with a keen interest in live sound and lighting. He has built a good reputation for quality event production. Jamaz’s DJ-ing career has seen him move through many genres, from Hardhouse/Trance to Hardcore, evolving into a serious passion for Hardstyle.

Tippy loves mixing-up big vocal melody tracks and heavy beats. Renowned for playing it "Hard as You Like" and dancing around the decks, getting himself and the crowd hyped for a fast and frantic set! Dropping banging bass lines and almost gabba like beats Tippy mixes it up with reverse bass and electrifying screeches.

Today, still wanted by hardstyle ravers, they survive as DJs of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire… the EHD
