Lainey SchoolTree is a Boston-based composer, vaudeville performer, producer of live shows, multi-instrumentalist, comedian, audio producer/engineer, and catsinger. Over the past several years she's acquired mad skillz in the creation and execution of art, becoming a DIY ninja in the underground arts community of Boston. She's also been known to do some puppeteering and burlesque as well, though usually not at the same time. She also loves to cook and play nerf javelin.

Always engaged in multiple projects / collaborations, Lainey's main focus currently is an ambitious Progressive Pop band Schooltree, in which her position is Supreme Overlord. 

Classically trained musician, potty trained adult, Lainey somehow wound up in the world of vaudeville as a performer and producer of shows. Along with partner Niki Luparelli (The Steamy Bohemians), she founded a variety show called Jerkus Circus in 2005, which is considered to have played a substantial role in pioneering the current NeoVaudeville movement in Boston. She's since been honored to collaborate with some incredibly intelligent and irreverent acts across genres: music, comedy, dance, burlesque, puppetry. She's really hoping to hook up with a mime.

Lainey also has had an incredible experience working as Corps Composer / Core Music Director (and performer) with Bent Wit Cabaret, a large-format variety show that ran at Oberon in Harvard Square, Cambridge produced by Axe To Ice Productions.

Lainey's other great passion is recording music, which she's been doing one way or another since she was 13. Some of her recent work includes mixing the lovely Lauren Flaherty's The Southie Chanteuse, and working on the amazing album SteamshipKillers as Producer and First Engineer (and co-mix-engineer) from Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys. She also wrote, arranged, recorded, produced, and mixed SchoolTree's My Metal Mother.

She's been written up in The Boston Globe, The Herald, The Weekly Dig, The Boston Metro, The Boston Phoenix, The Noise Boston, Northeast Performer Magazine, Comedian Magazine (NYC), Somerville Times, Worcester Magazine, The Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Black Canvas, and others. So you know she's like totally famous and stuff.

Claire Wadsworth, co-owner of the highly acclaimed Flamingo Heights restaurant, La Copine, found her way to the desert after teaching music and working in a recording studio in Los Angeles. While running the restaurant, Claire has been secretly making records at The Clocktower Recorder with producer, Charlie Stavish. As C’est Claire, she has self-released two full-length albums in a thematic series of three. The Rule of Three: Birth, Life, and Death. First Lessons (released 2018) representing birth, Second Chance (released 2020) signifies life, and Rule of Three (due out Fall 2022) stands for death as an ending or new beginning...
