“Spring” is a piece that is particularly close to my heart. I wrote it while watching the world slowly come back to life - trees budding, flowers blooming and the sunlight finally breaking through the cold. It's inspired by those quiet moments in nature when everything feels fresh, new and full of promise.

Recording artist and composer Philip Danso has been developing a unique sound, based on his multi-talented creativity, and passion for soothing and expressive cinematic sounds. 
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Ólafur Arnalds and Max Richter, his debut release Dawn, features a distinctive take on neoclassical music and expressive sonic-painting. The song has a sparse, yet rich texture allowing the delicate piano arpeggios to dance amidst subtle, but ever-present solo strings.
