‘FTDJ’ sees the pairing of two heavyweight German techno talents on one killer release.  Ackermann and Michael Klein have been responsible for a slew of solo releases over the years.  Ackermann is a regular on Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE label, whilst Klein’s repertoire has been fired out by legendary labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Second State, BLK DRP and many more.

A brace of rollicking tracks is delivered on their collaborative release for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint.  The cheeky vocal sample in ‘FTDJ’ dominates, but never overloads, instead working rhythmically with the swinging and funky techno groove that’s established, as loopy top line keys and dirty stabs keep this industrious banger shooting forwards!  And on ‘Check This Out’, a building intensity is generated as spiralling modular tones and vivacious percussive drums create a drama inducing heater!
