With an absolute ton of marvellous productions on labels like 50 Weapons, Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver, Blueprint and Ultramajic, we’re having a bit of a ‘fan-boy’ moment here at EI8HT, and proud as punch to welcome Truncate to our burgeoning label.

On the ‘TRUNCEI8HT’ EP (see what we did there!), David Flores serves up a trio of textbook techno DJ tools for the deeper dancefloors.

A stripped down, bouncing groove constitutes ‘Our Bodies’, as rattling ride rhythms and rolling percussion maintain forward motion, its scantly used metallic vocal sample crushed and mangled. 

Latin flavours are at play on ‘Utility 2’, with a female vox and bustling groove adding bucket loads of funk to it’s already super charged vibe, whilst ‘Utility 3’ goes further, ramping up the BPMs and offering up a frantic loop driven banger with that unmistakable Truncate sound!

Truncate - Utility 3 (EI8HT)

Driven by techno music since the 90-s. Inspired by Detroit, German and United Kingdom techno music.

Year 2001: creates a website about the Latvian undergroun electronic music along with dj BEAT, NGC-5128, Kombinator, Mario, Krabis & Co: 808.LV - resource all around Latvian underground electronic music (website is currently suspended due to reconstruction).

Year 2002: One of his first successfull composition "Returning" was included in local Latvian label's compilation "Motobase". 

Around 2003: The local record company "Ingus Bauskenieka ieraksti published the first part of the electronic music compilation CD" electronica @ *. lv. There is the track "Thin Science. 

Year 2004: "Selffish" a remix of "Prototype-1" was released on the German netlabel "Thinner". This track was also included in DJ Oblivion's mix, released on the netlabel "Subsource" (Germany).

Year 2004: The same label, the compilation "In 13 Inout exhalation" (Remix CD) from the series "Gas of Latvia". It's a remix of the track "Inout (Leaving The Planet E, Breathing Mix)".

EI8HT Records is the brand new collaboration between long term friends and DJ partners, Eats Everything & Andres Campo, each with over 10 years experience in dance music, spanning house, techno, electronica and all in between.
Aiming to throw the spotlight onto a sound that is largely unaccounted for in the modern day scene, thus with huge passion shared between the pair, they believe in delivering the finest quality, forward thinking Techno that transcends through Soulful and emotive electronic music to high energy Groo- ve-laden club bangers, whilst always remaining true to the solid backbone of “their” Techno sound.
Through EI8HT, a unified coming together between Eats Everything & Andres Campo, represented by two circles that form the logo, they will bring to the stage an appreciation of this style that they have encountered from all over the world for the last 10+ years.
EI8HT now invites you to experience their imagination and creation, resulting from a refreshing and undeniable love of electronic music.


BRINE2.0– Artist Bio

Born in Morocco and based in Montréal since 2013, BRINE2.0 has been cultivating his passion for electronic music since the early 2000s. Known for his energetic, driving techno, he seamlessly adapts to different styles and atmospheres, always delivering powerful sets that leave no dance floor untouched.

Drawing inspiration from techno pioneers such as Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, Flug, and Len Faki, O’Brine channels raw intensity and precision into every performance. Over the years, he has played across Montréal’s most iconic venues and festivals, including Le Salon Daomé, Origins, La Shop, and Circus Afterhours, earning a reputation for never holding back.

When he takes the decks, the mantra is simple:
He always goes hard & never goes home.

Behind the persona, Omar is the good guy—but it’s Brine who causes all the trouble.
