After my "Demos vol.1," I never got around to putting together a follow-up tape... that is, until NOW. All tracks are produced around the mid 90's, with a few soundbites added later on. Sound quality is pretty much lo-fi but for those who dug my first tape, I think you'll see the connections.

While Demos vol.1 was created entirely in Hawai'i, Demos vol. 2 finds me on a transition to California (I was in the Bay Area from 1996 to 2000) and made some tributes that are included here.

I kept some rEmixes in like the first one (like Big L, Das EFX, Supercat, Crooklyn Dodgers), as well as some local HI acts such as Hi Habitats, Casper and Todd G a/k/a Kid Kalooa).

And of course, mo' beats and skits...

After spending hours in my own crates due to this forthcoming sale, I got inspired, hopped on the decks and rocked a live 90 minute mix of soul, funk, library, jazz, disco, hip-hop, etc. There's joints and genres from all around the world. I went hard (pause) on the doubles at some points, and there's some instrumental/acapella blends up there too… 

This was an spur of the moment practice session that was never to be given to the public, just to listen to later for ideas… no playlists, no preparation… A few mates enjoyed it whom I sent it to and prompted me to get it out there… Please excuse all the sloppy mixes, cuts, etc. I wanted to keep it raw like the mixes of the 90's… feedback is appreciated.
