Hailing from the eclectic underground scene, Lola Demo has carved out a niche that's entirely her own. With a background that defies convention, her journey through the musical realms is anything but ordinary.
Starting with the brooding tones of goth and alt-rock, Lola Demo has evolved her sound into something that transcends genres. She has previously fronted the goth band Ape the Cry (Melb AUS), rocked out with the alt-rock band Hard Candy (Melb AUS), and explored dark electronica with British musician/producer Barry Snaith in their duo, M1NK.
Now splitting her creative energy between Athens, Greece, and the idyllic island of Ithaca, Lola Demo writes and records in her mobile studio, Strudel Girl. Her commitment to her craft is unwavering, aiming to release a new album or EP at least once a year. Her music marries grungy garage grit with hauntingly beautiful melodies, crafting songs that are as biting as they are melancholic.
