Der gebürtige Hamburger Hannes Turm, der viel in der Welt rumgekommen ist und seit 2018 in Berlin lebt, stand für diesen Podcast am Mixer.

01 Welche Musikrichtung hatte den größten Einfluss auf dich?

Musik hat schon immer eine immense Rolle in meinem Leben gespielt. Ich habe früh mit dem Klavier spielen angefangen. Damit habe ich früh ein musikalisches Verständnis und Grundwissen gelernt. Dazu kam später noch das Schlagzeug. In meiner Jugend habe ich viel Punk gehört. Geprägt hat mich dann aber vor allem Electro-Punk. Ohne Musik wäre mein Alltag definitiv sehr viel trister und emotionsloser. Ein Leben ohne Musik ist unvorstellbar für mich.

02 Wie bist du zur elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Ich war lange Zeit in einem selbstverwalteten Haus in Tübingen aktiv, das Epplehaus. Dort haben viele tolle Künstler*innen gespielt, insbesondere aus der Electro-Punk-Ecke. Durch meine Mitarbeit vor Ort kam ich aber auch mit anderen Musikrichtungen in Kontakt, wie Dubstep, Drum’n‘Bass und vor allem auch Techno.

03 Wie bist du zum Auflegen gekommen und produzierst du auch?

Mit 16 hatte ich meine ersten Auftritte in Tübingen, oft bei der Afterhour nach Konzerten, aber auch bei kleinen Festivals in der Umgebung. Das war ne super Zeit. Damals habe ich mit zwei Freunden B2B aufgelegt. Als ich aus Tübingen wegzog, habe ich aber leider auch schnell den Kontakt zu den Veranstalter*innen verloren. Auflegen war dann lange Zeit ein Hobby, mit dem ich mich Zuhause beschäftigt habe. Als ich dann nach Berlin kam und ich vermehrt wieder zu der Musik feiern konnte, die mich mitreißt, hat mich der Ehrgeiz wieder gepackt. Seitdem lege ich wieder viel mehr auf, beschäftige mich mit dem, was in der Szene passiert. Ich produziere jetzt seit einigen Monaten, bin da aber noch ganz in den Anfängen. Es macht richtig Spaß, ist aber sehr zeitintensiv. 

04 Erzähl‘ uns was über die Hauptgang.

Die Hauptgang ist vermutlich so entstanden, wie viele andere Kollektive auch. Acht Freund*innen, verbunden durch die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik, dachten sich, gemeinsam ein Projekt zu starten. Sich gegenseitig zu supporten, ist schöner als alleine. Was uns ausmacht ist aber, dass wir alle ganz unterschiedliche Musik feiern, hören und auch auflegen. Und was uns außerdem verbindet, ist unsere abgrundtiefe Liebe zu Essen. Wir versuchen das auch ein wenig bei unseren Partys zu integrieren. Aber ja, wer hätte das gedacht, da wird tatsächlich gar nicht so viel gegessen 😉 In unserer Podcast-Reihe, „Heißhunger“ haben wir außerdem jeweils im Duo ein B2B-Set aufgenommen und so versucht, die unterschiedlichen „Musikgeschmäcker“ - schon wieder ein genialer Ausdruck, der Essen und Musik verbindet - in einem Set zu kombinieren. Vor ein paar Wochen war es dann endlich soweit und wir konnten Pandemiegerecht endlich unsere erste eigene Hauptgangparty schmeißen. Es war ein heißer Abend!

Wie und wann seid ihr zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Innellea gibt es nun seit 2,5 Jahren. Wir sind beide davor schon im Ohne-Worte-Kollektiv gewesen, mit dem wir seit einigen Jahren Parties machen und da war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis wir beide selbst in die Hand genommen haben Musik zu machen. 

Welche Musikalischen Momente sind euch besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?

Da gibt es einige... Besonders in Erinnerung ist uns auf jeden Fall das Plötzlich am Meer letzten Jahres. Erst überraschte uns die Nachricht auf der „Forkel-Gork-Stage“ spielen zu dürfen und dann war es vor Ort einfach überwältigend auf so einer Bühne vor so vielen Menschen zu stehen. 

Wo konnte man euch bisher antreffen?

In Deutschland haben wir bisher hier und dort gespielt, in Berlin es ins Kater und Sisyphos geschafft, aber auch auf unsere außereuropäischen Gigs in Georgien und Indien schauen wir stolz zurück.  

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?

Unser Releaseplan ist voll: ein Remix für Bebetta auf Monaberry, eine EP auf URSL, ein Track auf der Upon.You-Compilation im Herbst und einige Tage im Studio warten.

@dielinamusic and I decided to re-record our set from Cirkus Tresolar (29-08-2020) in the Techno Tunnel, Gothenburg, as it wasn't recorded during the evening. 

This set is a slow, melodic techno trip where we play with decreasing the tempo of fast techno tracks, making them sound more intensive and present.
