We are flying of for a new release on PHW today as we see our Mexican buddy Juan Martinez aka John Manz return to us with 2 fresh productions. As always he blend a great variety into his productions as he is a producer building fresh melodies and driving elements. These are 2 more exceptional productions that stands for everything PHW is about, fresh vibes from cool people.

The title track and also the opener, “Blossom”, is a driving production, packed with great harmonies, driving beats and superb melodies written from this in fame rising producer. We are thrilled to bring it out to you and can’t wait to see the reactions. 

On remix duty for this track we have the exciting news to bring on a producer that has been a label favorite for ages as we see the Russian based Mobil making his debut together with us. Being a force on the scene with releases on Alter Ego, Perceptive Recordings, Vendace and many more over the years, we now finally got him together with us, and we are of course happy to see this. The outcome on the remix is absolutely gorgeous as well, as Mobil bring on a fantastic driving progressive trance act, packed with melodic structures, energy and drive. Be ready for the melodic breakdown that is a true magical experience!

The 2nd original from John Manz is another massive production including those rich melodic arrangements that has become his trademark sound. This is another beauty that will take you on one of those journeys, that we can assure you all about. It’s a pure mint production once again! 

On remix duty you will get a collaboration from 2 really promising names in the business, as Gate Faze & Andrew GG teams up to build their interpretation of the track.
With their warm and melodic vibe built, they will spoil us with a huge production, including the rich feel and sunny elements that gives us both shivers and a smile on our face. We are super happy to involve them on the label.

The 2nd remix is another new addition to our PHW family, as we see the rising talent of Entis joining our team. Having been in contact for a while, showing us productions (more to come, we promise), we felt we wanted to showcase his talent through this remix, and he definitely delivers a strong opener on our label. A full on “trancer” with a fantastic pace and energy is delivered for you all through this re-take, and we do hope and feel this is a producer that is here to stay.

Cool and hype, is what we would call this beauty named "Kirishima".

Kelotti - Laura:

Second on this Melodic Journeys EP, is "Laura", a special little beat, whose thumping bass and saw wave
ripples spark in the air to create a fantastic dance floor slapper. Once the main verse blows up and
transitions to the middle 8's of the song, you'll be in divine solace with the melodic piano that plays
over the strings.

Puru - Aoba:

There are many delights to be found in Puru's "Aoba", it is nothing short of superb. Cool, fresh
piano notes hit the heart with a dash of heat and ice, as the slowed breakbeat-like drum and bass
track stutters upon each step.

Ryo Nakamura - Luminescent:

The fluttering arpeggios and chord progressions in Ryo Nakamura's "Luminescent", are so upbeat and
happy, you honestly will be overcome with the urge to start dancing and moving to the beat.

Sanaas - Prairie:

Layers of hard kicking drum and bass kick the speed up on "Prairie" by Sanaas, with its motivating
piano leads taking your spirit and lifting you up, as if the chords' strike were helping to propel
you onward.

Shion Hinano - Honoka:

Shion Hinano really kicks up the euphoric arena by layering amazing chords on a bed of warm synths.
"Honoka" is an incredibly hard hitting progressive track in its sound, only adding up to make this
compilation an undeniably amazing treat.

Shion Hinano - Starlight:

No stranger to the progressive house room, "Starlight" is another gleefully dance filled track by Shion.
Playful, yet aggressive, and yet still so calming. The amount of detail that exists within is something
to be explored for sure.

SugoiFiction - Marvel:

"Marvel" takes us on a high speed ride, blasting straight into Earth's exosphere. SugoiFiction isn't
playing around in this intensely hardcore uplifting melodic trance banger. Be careful you don't blow
other driver's doors off as you pass them listening to this.

TACT TOKYO - Daydream:

If ever there was blissful solace in melodic drum and bass, this liquid and soulful tune will have you
bobbin' your head the whole way through. TACT TOKYO's "Daydream" is also a wonderful night theme. Tune
in and chill out to this warm one.

Takahito Mizuno - Blue Hole Bottom:

Takahito Mizuno adds more firepower to the ranks of the faster tracks in the compilation, with "Blue Hole Bottom".
A wild ride that's fun and funky. Savage bass lines that seem to gallop and trot their way through time with the
main pads plucking their noise into the overwhelming verses that ensues.

Takahito Mizuno - Mistletoe:

Second track for Takahito Mizuno, this time with "Mistletoe". Cool squared chords play light in the background
to compliment the more high pitched signs and angelic chorus that makes this one a great addictive addition to
the compilation.


Takahito Mizuno - Nostalgia for Ruins:

As we come towards the end of our Melodic Journeys Japan we are again gifted with a track by Takahito's genius
with a cool track titled "Nostalgia for Ruins". A track sure to get your body moving with its delectable sound.

Takuma Iwakawa - Beautiful Mind:

"Beautiful Mind" couldn't be more beautiful to us as a pleasant end to a journey. A mixture of tribal and
progressive sounds made an experience given to us by Takuma Iwakawa, and is one we had to have a place for in
our Melodic Journeys Japan.

Afternova returns to our main imprint, this time under his Night Sky alias. Here is the wonderful and peaceful "City Lights".

Starting off with a sweet driving and groovy bassline, Night Sky takes us on a late night trance journey through harmonies, melodies and chords. It goes straight on to a pleasing breakdown that quickly leads to the song's euphoric climax.

Italian dance music veteran Maurizio Colella – aka EDX – returns with what is guaranteed to be yet another chart-topping release to add his already impressive repertoire of hits as he unveils his enormous new single ‘Roadkill’ – out June 13th via Spinnin' Deep/Sirup Music.  
 
Originally released back in 2007 by Dubfire, EDX first lent his hand to remix duties on ‘Roadkill’ that same year, turning the minimal techno record into a mammoth electro house remix that dominated Ibiza and received support from every major DJ on the island and indeed the globe. Nearly a decade later, EDX has chosen to test his production prowess by revisiting the fan-favourite, masterfully infusing the original with his sublime sound to provide a divine deep house edit that is set to continue his worldwide dancefloor domination.

In celebration of the release, EDX gives insight into the importance of the song, “In 2007, Dubfire released his debut minimal techno record, ‘Roadkill’ and it’s a significant song in my career as I released a remix of it in 2008 that took over Ibiza and saw a ton of DJ support from Pete Tong, Armin Van Buuren, and Swedish House Mafia, to name a few. The song still brings back many good memories from that exciting era, so I decided to revitalize it with a fresh version that features my deeper, sexier style, about 10 years since its release. With the recent announcement of my Privilege Ibiza residency this summer, this new ‘Roadkill’ version couldn’t have come at a better time, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it on the dance floor.”
 
Last year saw EDX’s career reach unprecedented heights, with his remix of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ amassing over 60 million plays on SoundCloud alone, not to mention releasing a slew of club-ready cuts such as ‘Belong’ and ‘Revered’ that saw him scoop the award for #1 top charting artist on Beatport of 2015. With his weekly ‘NoXcuses’ radio show and podcast hitting the 1 million downloads mark, earlier this year saw the Swiss sensation bring the revered show and event brand of the same name together with Swiss label Enormous Tunes for a hugely successful 15-date bus tour across North America. Bowing to increasing demand for more ‘NoXcuses’ events in Europe, EDX has just announced his return to the white isle for what promises to be an incredible 10-date residency at the world-renowned Privilege Ibiza.
