It's hard to believe that it will be exactly two years ago since we launched our beloved label. It really has flown by in the blink of an eye. And so, to mark the occasion of 24 successful months in business, we bring you release number 24. You could call it OCD behaviour but we like to think of it as symmetry ;-)

Step forward Mr Jaap Ligthart, a Dutchman who has been on our radar for some time now with a number of fantastic edits and reworkings but is now making the natural transition into original productions. Together with Ms. Alice Rose, a vocalist who's pass credits include guesting on tracks for the likes of Gabriel Ananda and Eagles & Butterflies, they've created something rather special. 

‘I Know Change’ is a sensuous piece of work. Deep House in the very real sense of the phrase. 
And that is something that our remixers on this project have truly understood. Both Him Self Her and Show-B have delivered exquisite interpretations that give the whole package an overriding sense of class and quality. 

Him Self Her keep things deep and moody with a restrained, atmospheric, sophisticated piece of work, whilst Show-B heads into slightly tougher territory encapsulated by some distinctive rollercoaster percussion effects that have already seen Ame, Dixon, Sasha, Mano Le Tough & Adratique showing their support. And if all that wasn’t enough, they both deliver vocal free dubs too! 

So then, just to recap, it’s hotter than Megan Fox in Agent Provocateur and cooler than a Polar Bear’s toenails. What’s not to like?

Brothers Danny and Kieran Clancy have forged a fierce reputation for themselves as some of London’s most unique party starters. Their Krankbrother events have grown from an annual fancy dress party solely for their friends to one of the most recognized and well respected parties in the capital. Thus, launching a label felt a natural progression on what they'd previously built with their eponymous Krankbrother imprint quickly establishing itself as one of the UK's more prominent labels.

So, after opening up the account on their burgeoning outpost earlier this year, Krankbrother return to their label with two new tracks and a remix from Norwegian disco stalwart Prins Thomas, which again showcases the multi-faceted nature of their musical dexterity.

For today's Debut Transmission we've plumped for Prins Thomas' intricately crafted rework of the brotherly duo's title track 'Obscure Visions', a fully formed winter warmer, which ticks all the boxes required for a modern day, funky dance classic. Rolling, broken beats and brass keys are firmly the order of the day underpinned by disco fuelled bass line a certain Mr. Moroder might well enjoy.

Arriving November 16th alongside its original incarnation and a thunderous slab of techno aimed squarely at the small hours, this is one package you won't want to sleep on.

Hamburg trio RSS Disco is set to release 'Lunar Fling' on their very own label Mireia Records. Besides the orginal track it's Northern Germany-rooted producer Aera who adds his flavor to the orginal take and delivers some bitter sweet arpeggio-driven piece of music that's the blazing star and invites the listeners to an interstellar ride. Aera's remix for 'Lunar Fling' is Disco, is House, is melo-dramatic-magic in perfection – hypnotically squeaking synths mesmerize the listener from the start as an intergalactic chant in combination with slightly creaking chords push the vigilant club-goer to dance floor limits and heft Aera into orbit – musically, literally.
