Najnowszy album Pejzaż, o enigmatycznym tytule ‚Wyspa’, za cel obiera formę instrumentalnego mikstejpu. Misternie upleciony z ponad 200 sampli, zabiera słuchacza w podróż po klasycznym hip hopie, trip-hopie, soulu, rocku, ambiencie i jungle. Całości towarzyszy piękna okładka narysowana przez Martynę Bolanowską. Płytę zdecydowanie najlepiej słuchać nad jeziorami, rzekami, stawami lub polskim morzem.


Pejzaż’s latest album, enigmatically named ‚Wyspa’ (‚The Island’), was envisioned as an instrumental mixtape. Intricately woven from over 200 samples, it takes the listener on a journey through classic hip hop, trip-hop, soul, rock, ambient and jungle. The whole is accompanied by a dazzling cover by Martyna Bolanowska. You should definitely have a listen by a lake, river, pond or the Baltic Sea.

Akwizgram - SALUT X AVO (Ravekjavik)

"Uroboros" is an original, three-part composition by Paweł Szamburski, his commentary on essential rituals and rites of passage in the life of man. Drawing from traditional folk music, the composer is also inspired by the gnostic symbol of a snake biting its tail. Uroboros expresses spiritual and physical oneness of all things and symbolizes the infinite cycle of destruction and rebirth. It is both the point of departure and arrival in Szamburski's musical journey. „Birth”, „Life” and „Death” gain folk music forms of a lullaby, a wedding tune and a funeral dirge. Clarinets, loops, a mother's ticking clock and the „infinite” mode on the Alexander Sky-Fi pedal all contribute to this tale of meaning, simplicity and beauty.

When my friend Vali from @parallaxrecordings asked if I wanted to drop another Yaman Productions tribute mix for @peoples-station I was all over the idea! Last time around I did a tribute to the 1993 crop of mixes, pulling together tracks from that year's selection of mixtapes. This time around I've focused on the 1994 mix sets, taking four tracks from each of the five dj's that featured that year, and running through them sequentially, like this: Micky Finn -> Randall -> DJ Hype -> Peshay -> LTJ Bukem

A super fun selection, and one for all the true heads; this is a great crossover between hardcore and jungle, right as that whole transformation was happening. Enjoy!

Yaman 1994 Hardcore Jungle (Mix for People's Station)

Me and Ben thought it would be fun to play a long DJ set together at Globus, the upstairs floor at Tresor in Berlin. 
We last played together (as Frequency 7) in May 2013. This time we played a ‘back to back’ DJ set, I’m pretty sure playing 2 tracks each for the whole six and a half hour set. All we had in mind beforehand was to start with some Dub and ‘see where it goes’. 

It was a lot of fun so we wanted to share the recording with you.
