The two scoundrels Cid and Zebo once met in cliff-hanging times doing their thing. Ten years later they found themselves together again having a spontaneous session at the home studio, one of them had build up with only limited means. Skalka is the first and only one-track jam they have recorded so far, seemingly mirroring their past shared rambles.

Laura ODL and Eva Geist met first time in Vilnius at festival STRCamp. They didn't know yet they will form a band. It will take a couple of years before they will meet again. This time in Berlin, at Sameheads, during Laura's set streaming at Radio Rixdorf and Eva´s soundcheck in the basement. With Laura's wide experience as listener and records collector, Eva's music production and live-performing skills and their shared interests in sound studies, radio and unique music, they breathed life into a complementary binomial entity called As Longitude.

We try to approach this from a more cultural and societal perspective, aside from the necessary musical one, because we cannot deny the influence of modern age bringing ideas from all over the world which broaden our horizons. It is a fact that we can learn a lot from movements that are foreign to us.

We have a premier on our hands with these two Croatian bosses; although they often jam it out and even have a collaborative EP on Gooiland Elektro named "Toxicology", this is their first ever mix together and what a blend it is. Taking Zarkoff's experience in his own studio Sensorium and ikonal running the dance floor rocking bRAVE events aswel as performing live on a regular basis, they have produced a lovely blend of EBM & Electro all dipped in a little bit of Acid.

Be sure to check out ikonal's bRAVE when you are in the Zagreb surroundings because with previous editions like Schwefelgelb & Marsman you are bound to be entertained and while your at it definitely check out one of our favourites from Zarkoff - "Death Of A Bumblebee Importer" but for now
