After his first appearance on the Seasons | Autumn 2019 EP, Trvlr1 is back on Manual Music's MNL subsidiary with his solo single debut.

New to the scene, the Russian producer sounds like a seasoned veteran with his immaculate production skills and sound design. With 'Mesmerize' and 'A Free Mind' he drops two outstanding productions, warm, euphoric and dreamy.

A true treat for the lovers of synth driven progressive house music, and what a way to kick off 2019 for the MNL label!

Trvlr1 - Mesmerize

Huminal are back on Einmusika. The amsterdam based duo created a beautiful EP with their typical signature sound. "Restless Desire" is an uplifting and positive melodic techno tune with a simple and catchy main melody. "Ecliptica" is more calm and groovy. The track opens up during the break with a processed vocal sample. "Remove The Comfort Zone" is a perfect track for the after-hour with it's crazy effect sounds and a strong beat.

Welcome back Marius Drescher for our last release of the year! The Berlin-based producer processed a lot of emotions in his new three-tracker. The title track "We Had It All" perfectly combines melancholy, drive and the urge to escape. "Last Time" is a very sad yet beautiful track with a catchy hookline and a lot of ecstatic moments. Last but not least we can hear the typical Drescher trademark sound with some 80s influences in "Distance", which perfectly closes the EP.

Starting in March of last year, and much like other labels in the industry, the pandemic brought on financial challenges we could never have foreseen. In order to help alleviate the label's financial hardship, we have put together the “Affinity” album, on which each artist expresses the thoughts and feelings that they have experienced during these times of uncertainty.
The 24-track “Affinity” album was conceived with the idea of continuing to push groundbreaking music from different parts of the world, and to support the label.
By purchasing the album, you will be directly contributing to and supporting the members of our project. The proceeds from the sales will be distributed amongst the team and help finance the production of Steyoyoke’s 9th Anniversary party.
You can purchase the 24-track album in MP3 format for only €10, or the WAV format for €15. You also have the opportunity to donate more, and you will get a FREE TICKET for Steyoyoke‘s 9th Anniversary for each 20€ you donate.

Orchard

Premiere: Dmitry Molosh - Orchard (Rauschhaus Remix) [Mango Alley]

Starting 2021 kicking like yer proverbial mule, hot on the heels of The Selador Showcase: The Twelfth Night Part One, we are proud to present, with a characteristic mix of dexterity, alacrity and logic – Part Two! 

Like its predecessor, this second instalment once again puts the spotlight on a whole host of global electronic production talent (2 x welcome returnees, 4 x Selador debutants) and covers a multitude of styles in one essential package.

First, we find hot Russian duo Goom Gum in tandem with Istanbul-based Gaidukova. ‘Freedom’ is a wonderfully constructed riff fest, underpinned by a mean growling bassline. Peak time action.

Next up, the prolific Several Definitions (Switzerland) brings us the magnificent brooding beast that is ‘Boske’. Maximum wonkiness, just how we like it.

UK scene stalwart Kiz Pattison delivers ‘Intruder’ – this particular intrusion is most welcome though as the insistent lead riff burrows its way into the darkest recesses of your cranium. Hold tight.

London-based Rashid Ajami follows renowned for the emotional depth of his productions, and the beautiful ‘The Lie’, in partnership with Dröm, will only help cement that reputation. Proper swish.

Next from Spain, we welcome Martin HERRS & Thimble, whose hypnotic ‘Impala’ is awash with exotic sounds cascading over a pulsating bassline. Deep, unrelenting business. 

And we conclude with Nila, the New Zealand-based Scot adding to his growing stature with Asyn on the yearning vocals for the powerful, instantly inspiring ‘Answers’.

'Burgeoning techno duo Bonsai ring in 2021 with ‘Rule of Two’, a highly-anticipated 3-track EP that features atmospherically driving production elements from start-to-finish.The latest entrancing endeavor to come from the pair directly follows their hard-hitting remix of Galestian’s ‘Worlds Apart’, released in mid-September of last year, as well as their acclaimed 3-track ‘Event Horizon’ EP from the month prior. Out now on venerated Berlin-based imprint Steyoyoke Recordings, the ‘Rule of Two’ EP is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

‘Forward Unto Darkness’ kicks off the EP with contemplatively brooding, elongated soundscapes. Repetitively stabbing synths, a propulsive rhythm, and infectious beat maintain the energy throughout with ease, and characterize much of the rest of this sonically enticing techno tour de force.

The titular track, ‘Rule of Two’, takes the reins next, and carries with it much of the same high-octane sensibilities. A rising tension is introduced in the first half, and takes its time to settle with the listener before unleashing forcibly with a four-on-the-floor ambiance.

Lastly, ‘Ancient Home’ rounds out the offering with a rapturous finale, evoking a palpable intensity throughout its entire duration. A melodiously flowing beat is paired flawlessly with the overall propelling tone, in turn crafting a rich juxtaposed mixture that doesn’t let up. In all, the 3-track EP is yet another stellar techno masterpiece from Bonsai.'
