To close the year 2021, Oddity presents the long awaited various artists, Odd Echoes vol. 5, loaded with hypnotic melodic cuts from new and returning artists.

The V.A, showcases the label's cohesive, yet diverse and evolving melodic sound, with a number of artists brought together to create this magical journey.

Opening the V.A label boss Fur Coat delivers a new collaboration with Alfa Romero, introducing us to the construction of the deepest, most ethereal and melodic sounds, where artists like Adamant, Baime, aacht, Esoteric Circle and Andrea Martini show a coherent crescendo in the timeline of the compilation.

Continuing the story, we can see new names joining the record label like Casper Cole, Rinzen, Jos & Eli, delivering some diverse melancholic yet euphoric cuts.

Digging further into the compilation, sounds like those of the collaboration of Jonas Saalbach and Tantum, or the originals by Remcord, Lexer, SOEL, 19:26, Beswerda, Sascha Breamer bring a touch of darkness that transport us to another dimension in sound.

Last but not least, Aalson, The Element MT, Daijan ft. Running Pine, Black Peters and Jody Barr, present some closing-oriented emotional cuts, with some of them including some breaks or experimenting with some unique synths and textures, to ensure the perfect closure to this story we call Odd Echoes.

HARDT ANTOINE is a London based DJ producer of French and West Indian descent, who continuously combines his hugely colourful and eclectic taste in music. He has also made a name for himself with his Reculture label and club nights.

His KOMPAKT debut clearly shows why he’s one to watch in the years to come. “Nobody’s Watching” is a dark grooving beast with bending synth lines and a haunting vocal; counterbalanced with uplifting Eastern analog pads. It’s from this rare breed of tracks that shine in a frantic peak time set and sexy late night moments alike.

“All We See” follows a similar path. Its mandatory bassline and dark melody evolve into something uplifting, as if to say – ‘We always see light at the end of our tunnel’.

Radial takes a more cinematic approach and largely neglects the dancefloor in a classic KOMPAKT 3-track EP fashion, following a lovely tradition that began with Dettinger’s KOM 2 and later on spawned the Pop Ambient movement.

Part 2 of our anniversary compilation sees the somewhat elusive, always euphoric Deorbiting kick off proceedings with ‘Spaziergang Im All’, a gleaming serenade of scales meandering through a field of glinty melodic techno.

Newcomer to the Stil vor Talent fold is Berlin techno composer Tim Engelhardt, who hits all the high notes and adds a dash of exotic tropicalia with ‘A Million Sunsets’.

Mysterious Swedish duo Elfenberg have graced the decks at many of our festivals and parties, and we just can’t stop loving the steady groove of the movement filled, driving soundscapes of ‘Danny’.

pølaroit kick it out of the park with ‘Bound to Each Other’, a melodic uptempo affair featuring the sublime vocals of HRRSN.

A deep bow to label founder Oliver Koletzki, who has carried forth the vision of Stil vor Talent to create an ever-growing coterie of music aficionados, offering them the support and the platform to share their styles and talents with the world.

Germain virtuoso Tim Engelhardt is back to Eleatics and this time with a full release. Having remixed 'Gypsy' by The Organism last year for us, Tim is returning back with 'Sun' EP consisting of two beautiful compositions by Tim.

Main titled 'Sun' is the elegant melodic symphony.
Lyric, dramatic and intriguing: these are the words, which are the best describing the mood of the track, which is drawing the autumn mood so so precisely and accurately.

Fur Coat are taking their 'Sun' remix work seriously, as they always do in any production piece their hands touch.
The vigorous bassline in combination with the repetitive leads throughout the dark growling sounds are extracting the dance energy from Tim's original track.

The farther we go, the more energetic it becomes.
'What Drives Us' is the energy essence in sound. Tight subs' work is moving the flying melodies of Tim to the highest intensity level, where it all cuts at the breakdown with the dissonating bells sounds.
