Chuck Hartman, whose grandmother claims could sing before he could talk, began performing at the age of four.  For over thirty years Chuck has written and performed music in several different venues. 
Throughout his youth, Chuck was always most at home on stage—working with several theater companies.  Throughout his teens and twenties, Chuck had many opportunities to tour both locally, and abroad with various groups.  Today he writes and performs music as a soloist and instrumentalist.
Chuck holds degrees in both art and theology and is a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.  He has worked as a graphic artist creating graphics for Coke-A-Cola Japan, AMF, and Brunswick Bowling to name a few.  
Chuck loves quiet nights home relaxing with wife Sonya.  In his leisure, Chuck writes and illustrates books for children.

During the summer of 2009, two friends came together to collaborate on the musical project they had envisioned for years. Emerging out of Raleigh, North Carolina, Future Flutes is the indietronica mind-workings of John Dyer (beats, keys, programming) and Brian Rey (guitars, keys, programming). Constantly experimenting and reinventing their sound, Future Flutes strives to create electronic-induced music that invigorates the hearts and minds of all of their listeners.
