The Dr. Moreau of dance music, creator of grotesque and beautiful sonic hybrids. Relentlessly stitching together styles and sounds like a mad scientist, bending genres and defying expectations. Maxwell Cutty draws on his eclectic musical background and influences to craft music that has been described as “seriously intoxicating and powerful”. Never one to shy away from the weird and surreal, his compositions are awash with “trippy and wonky elements” combined with ever present pulsing bass and driving drums. They leave you hooked, and maybe feeling just a little bit unhinged.

Believe is a DJ/Producer. He has produced many EDM tracks and also remixed some Top 40's pop songs. Believe has been in the music game most of his life, growing up in it since birth. It all started with his mother that showed him music. As a single mother of 3, the one main thing she could teach her children was music. This also came from growing up in a religious family, from his grandfather, a preacher, to his mother, a youth pastor. However, it was his Uncle and Mother that influenced him through music. His Mother was a singer at the Church he grew up in and his Uncle was also a singer and songwriter for the Christian music industry. Believe's family has a big part in his music career, from songwriting and performing, to producing. He has said that "My family believed that I would grow up and become a preacher, but a preacher told my mother that I will be famous and the WORLD will know who I am, so I chose music because everyone in this world knows about music".

Believe grew up listening to many different styles of music, from classical to electro. His Mother got him listening to his first records, from Phil Collins to Michael Jackson, at the age of 3. Ever since then he has loved the sounds of the music he was hearing and continues to listen to music of any style. He says "The music is from the people of the world, and its the world speaking to us from the musician's souls", He has been producing for many years and got influenced by his cousin, Rap and Hip-Hop artist X-Gin. Believe spoke highly about him, saying "Growing up watching him make beats and rapping to them, made me want to produce music, cause he said that 'I make music that I feel needs to be heard', and I always believed that". By taking that advice, he has been creating sounds and music that is from his soul, to have the world enjoy life and to keep on dancing.

Believe's name was formed by him. He said that "I came up with the name Believe because we as people have heard throughout our life, "Believe in this, believe in that" but that was the wrong way, so I wanted to take out the religious part out of it and have people just to believe in themselves, the way they dance, the way they enjoy music, to believe in the way they can see there dreams come true, and just believe in the way they are, but mainly to believe in the music, because music can take you anywhere and can always make you believe in anything. People need to believe again in whatever it is, our lives especially and everything around us, and I'm starting it through the best thing I know how, through the MUSIC, by playing it or producing it. So I say, when you listen to my music, close your eyes and let your journey in life start showing you what to really believe in, so the name Believe is for the world and I'm just the teacher behind it". Believe will always be a big part of music history, and music will be a big part of his life. He will keep believing in himself as he will believe in those that believe in themselves, so listen to his music and follow him, cause he will help you with your dreams coming true - Believe
