Formed in early 2014, 138 is the collaborative project between best friends Billy Garcia & Nathan Valle. The two 22 year old Los Angeles natives began the project shortly before launching their new label TXTRL, on which they have released their debut single “DECONSTRUCT.”

Here at DSNT, we've been fans of the 138 lads for a while now. We have a pretty similar outlook with regards to music and it's nice to be able to hook up with the guys from across the pond. They're definitely one to watch over the coming months and this hybrid set with drum machine, acid and decks should prove just why!

Kessell is the alter ego of Valentín Corujo, half of the Exium duo, this is his solo project where he explores the most liquid of his sonic palette. His music has naturally evolved from a hard and minimalist sound to their current style mixing dub, detroit techno, electro, minimal or techno, which has lead to the creation of his label Granulart Recordings, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub influences and classic Detroit sound, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

At Data Transmission, we know it's important to look beyond our borders for new talent... well, sort of. Heading just across the sea to Northern Ireland, there's a bubbling dance culture ripe for picking and we've found just what we're looking for in the form of Chris Hanna.

Having cut his teeth on the Belfast circuit, including a lengthy residency at the city's Shine club, Chris has gradually extended his reach across the UK. A Lister returns to Daylight Robbery with the Gizmo EP.  A Lister has been making quite a noise of late and its easy to see why, with plays on Radio 1 and Kiss FM, support from the likes of Huxley and Ejeca, and releases on labels including Love Not Money, Simma Black and Resonance Records. An increasingly frequent collaborator with the label; as well as being the man behind Podcast 001, he put his touch to DRR004 Swankout’s Want U with a massive remix. With driving percussion and a relentless groove, Gizmo packs a powerful punch. The listener is lured in before the tracks true nature is revealed as a juggernaut of sound is unleashed. 

The Di Chiara Brothers increase the growing Italian contingent at DRR. The boys have been taking their sound and making a splash on imprints including Roush, Sanity and Definition:Music. Their remix of Gizmo veers to the sub down low, resonating a unique feel whilst still retaining the flowing pulse of the original.
