What started as a challenge to craft pop music, the album we are releasing turned out to be much more. Gathering long time friends as well as inspiring new encounters, Mirlaqi produced seven songs marrying heartfelt experimentations with sheer bliss. Colorful as jazz, powerful as rock, groovy as disco, subtle as folk and catchy as pop, the Unpopular Songs offer something for every taste while staying true to its artistic intentions. Lyrics in English, French and Italian further the sense of creative freedom emanating from an album that was as satisfying to create as it is to listen to now.

Artiste plutôt pictural à la base, après un besoin de changements, Jean-Rémi se tourne vers la musique, en commençant par des productions "home-studio", pour évoluer vers les platines. Il a su travailler sa technique en s'inspirant des deux disciplines, pour pouvoir proposer aujourd'hui des set hors du commun, hybride entre djset et live.
En couplant les platines avec des samplers, boite à rythme ou autres joujoux musicaux, eKliTe apporte une touche originale, et se permet de déstructurer ses tracks pour garder uniquement le plus renversant pour son public. Jouant avec les styles, les samples et les boucles, eKliTe a la recette d'un mix étonnant et surtout détonant. Ce qui lui permet de ne pas se cantonner à un style mais de valser entre deep house, downtempo, techno ou trance.
En 2018 il fais l'acquisition d'une MODEL1 de PlayDifferently, une table de mixage qui ouvre de nouveaux horizons à la technique de mix, la créativité reviens au centre de la table, et elle lui permet de rendre chaque djset réellement unique.
La même année eKliTe, monte le Collectif Paradygm en collaboration avec d'autres artistes et acteurs culturels issue de la même région. Son but est de promouvoir les artistes locaux au niveau régional, national et pourquoi pas international. Et aussi de créer des évènements axés sur la musique afin de diversifié l'offre culturelle de la vallée d'Abondance.
