The Black Beanie Dub project was born at the end of 2016 in the south of France, near Marseille. After playing and composing together in their youth, the two friends, composers, and sound system enthusiasts released their first album and quickly set out to build the sound system of their dreams: the Black Beanie Sound.

Over the years, they have leveraged their musical experience and skills by collaborating with some of the biggest French dub labels (ODG, Rootical Attack Records) as well as with dozens of international and local artists, singers, and instrumentalists to make sound systems come alive. Their warm-sounding music is played on a sound system that is thoughtfully designed and handmade, complemented by the medium-high frequency section of the famous Black Board Jungle Sound.

Today, Black Beanie Dub continues to create and share their music, both online and in sound system sessions.
