This track has been produced as an entry for a compilation which might possibly be released someday as digital album on BandCamp. A link to it will be added here whenever it will be out. I'm grateful to the organizer for having been invited to participate, I'm sure it will be an awesome set. And it has been a honour and a pleasure for me to collaborate once again with Her (Vocal) Majesty Myrh (@myrhyum | @tariqa-kali) on this piece, which wouldn't make sense without her contribution.

Tan Taigi was a haiku poet of the Edo period. He was a wanderer for most of his life and admired by Yosa Buson for his ability to transcend his eclectic and unconventional lifestyle with sublime poetry.

i stepped into the warm night summer air
i saw her then and there
she had a jasmine blossom in her hair
and she was floating in the air

she whispered something in my ear
nothing is real nothing is true
there's absolutely nothing you can do
Enjoy the ride, it's over sooner than you think..

i saw my death off to my left and it looked like a spider.
i'd seen it before but then it looked like a door
and before that it looked like a raven.
and then sometimes it just looks like a shadow.

the raven was white and in flight at my left headed west.
the country was lush and rough
lava, pine trees, and springwater.

a magical place.
