Tigerskin is back with his annual offering on Dirt Crew, with the huge success of last years "Torn EP" that included the summer hit "November" which was just recently included in the great Mix CD Gerd Janson did for German Groove magazine expectations are high on the follow up and as we know Tigerskin well we are more than convinced he will match those without any problem. On this years "29 Hours EP" you will find 8 new tracks that range from Deep House to Electronica and more laid back Tech and Disco deepness. He also worked together with some very fine vocalists on two tracks named "The LazarusMan" and "Lamia" and teamed up with the highly talented El_Txef_A which resulted in an astonishing song. Just enjoy these tunes from the Tiger we are sure you gonna love them as much as we do!

Our favourite west coast space rock band "Woolfy vs. Projections", or "the Hall and Oates of the dance world" (XLR8R) are back for good. "Set Me Loose" is the first single from their 2012 album "The Return Of Love" , which with its proper songwriting, dreamy atmosphere and psychedelic character became an essential listening delight for all kind of Balearic types over the past summer. "Set Me Loose" is the perfect example for W vs. P unique blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation and the natural haziness that lives in their music. This makes it a perfect match for Swiss legend Lexx (you have to check out his contribution to the ' originals ' series on Claremont 56), who offers the first remix here. Lexx does what Lexx does best adding a good portion of Excotica, tropical drumming and a certain dubbyness to the original making it a winner on the late night floor. 

The Drifter, who had a busy year with setting up his own label Maeve, which he runs with his lads Mano Le Tough and Baikal and with releasing his debut ep on Permanent Vacation in late 2012, comes correct with a hypno house version of "Set Me Loose". He leaves out most of the original's Balearic feeling and adds a punchy kick and an acidy bassline to get it in shape for the more housy floors. 

Last but not least in this delicate triumvirate of remixes is El_Txef_A from Bilbao, Spain. Aitor Etxebarria turned quite some heads with his last year's debut album "slow dancing in a burning room" and the mixture of contemporary club music and classic pop elements. He stays close to the original, stripping it down to the basic elements of the groove and the vocals before half way through of the remix an arpeggiated synth appears and introduces the 4/4 bass drum for the second half.

Woolfy vs. Projections - Set Me Loose [El_Txef_A Remix] (Permanent Vacation 103)

Catz 'N Dogz have put together a two-disc collection called Friends Will Carry You Home Too, due for release in March.

The compilation is made up entirely of exclusive new material from Catz 'N Dogz's label, Pets Recordings. "We decided to do two CDs because we wanted to show that our label is not just a house music outlet,” says Voitek, one half of the Polish duo. “With CD2, we challenged some artists from our label and asked them to make something totally different from what they usually do—Eats Everything’s ‘Need’ is a perfect example.” The lengthy tracklist also includes tracks from, among others, Jay Shepheard, Till Von Sein, Martin Dawson and Catz 'N Dogz themselves. The compilation will available on CD, digitally and on vinyl.
