Manuel Costela is a Spanish producer from Madrid.
His music is mostly Deep house with touches of  Funk & Grooves.
At a very young age, he started the Bucketround label (2006) 
Which currently goes by the tenth reference and only produces Vinyl format. 

Bucketround was born from the initial idea of merging funk with Deep house music, publishing works of artists who are able to risk a bit in music production and to create a community of famous artists, collaborating with producers that are emerging right now. 
He started his electronic music carrier using an alias:
Oval Future Face (O.F.F) which focused on exploring darker sounds.
His last project is a new digital label, called 2phonic Recordings, this is created to discover new talented artists, based on electronic music, experimenting with different pre-defined styles. 

He has worked and is working in countless labels of international prestige some of them are: TH Pressing (Japan), Sub_Urban, Trax Records, Deep Explorer Music, Mate Recordings, Nang Records, Deepart Sounds, Black Jack Records, Klassik (Chicago), Moatun7, Rare Wiri, B2 Recordings, Delve Deeper, MoodyHouse,  Spa In Disco, Closer To Truth, Real Balearic, Black Riot, Moulton Music (San Francisco) and more.

And has collaborated with a lot of great artists, such as: K Alexi Shelby, Robert Owens, Homero Espinosa, Dubbyman, Above Smoke, Ney Faustini, Danielle Baldelli, Reggie Dokes, Dj Rocca, Pablo Bolivar,  Rayko, Tominori Hosoya, and many many more.

Actually Manuel presents a weekly program broadcast on Balearica Music Radio from Ibiza with his friend Rafa Santos.
For 2023/2024 he is working on new special collaborations with Robert Owens (Musical Directions), K Alexi, Jamie Anderson, Dj Rocca, Tominori Hosoya, Bjak and future projects on Deeper Shades Recordings, Moulton (San Francisco)  and Only Good Vibes/Vibe Collide Records.

Creative, Steady, Determined.

 This native Chicagoan came of age during the burgeoning local dance music scene in the 1980s. A fast and eager learner of the technical skills of his craft, it has always been his desire to speak to his listeners through musical selections to evoke feelings beyond mere dance floor mayhem; He plays music that makes a difference. 

 In 1998, Elbert was approached by the Giorgio Armani boutique in Chicago to play their annual Christmas Party, at Maxim's de Paris, a posh and private venue on Chicago's fashionable Gold Coast neighborhood to rave reviews. Numerous guest appearances followed, most notably are the Bang The Party Brooklyn/Manhattan events hosted by Lorie Caval and Eman, the Funky Buddah lounge, 2i's (NYC), Sound Bar, Glass (NYC), Sonotheque, Zentra, Transit, Baktun (NYC), the Victor Hotel, the Monkey Club in Paris France, Square One, Transit, the Def Mix Zone (XM Radio channel 80), the grand opening of A/X Armani Exchange in Schaumburg, Illinois and a featured interview on the Ministry of Sound's Mix of Nations television program. In the summer of 2003, Elbert joined respected djs, producers and performance artists for a summer music festival billed as the Sound System Block Party in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood; a wildly popular annual event that brings people together around quality music and art. 

 In 2002, Elbert was commissioned by Frederick Dunson of D/E Entertainment, to play at a birthday celebration for legendary DJ Frankie Knuckles. Frankie was so impressed with Elbert's talents that he granted him the rare and honored privilege to open the evening at D/E's annual July event at the House Of Blues; Elbert would embark on a four year tenure of playing occasional private home gatherings and warming up crowds for the Godfather of House Music! Frankie’s passing was distressing for everyone in the House Music community but, the City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs put together an epic event honoring Frankie's life on June 3rd 2014: Elbert was the first deejay contacted to pay his respects with a heartfelt DJ-set to a crowd of thousands in Millennium Park.  Recently, Elbert has been working on studio production, resulting in the release of his reworking of Rufuss’ “Higher Together” (DJ Elbert’s Dance floor Redux) featured on Qalomota’s Classics Remixed, and "Beacon of Light" featuring spoken word artist Isa Bright Starr, also on Qalomota Records, France. Elbert was also a contributing editor for 5 Magazine Chicago, a monthly publication that covers local, and international house music culture. I create Press & Promotional campaigns to promote new music releases. Predominantly 'Underground House', 'Techno', bit of 'Balearic' and my beloved 'Disco'. I strive to get your release placed, mentioned and played in all of the 'relevant' places as well as getting the 'right people' to endorse it.
