The best psych-funk soundtracks come from the Shah brothers (Kalyanji &amp; Anandji), Rahul Dev Burman (&amp; his son Sachin) or Ilaiyaraaja, all great composers who ruled over the indian movie scores for decades, while the female voices were mainly interpreted by Lata Mangeshkar &amp; her younger sister Asha Bhosle.
As a starter for this twisted selection, the american Bill 'Ravi' Harris serves an unexpected &amp; hindustani cover of Manu Dibango's Soul Makossa.

Elbious is one doughty and passionate music generator. In the late 90s he started assembling samples with one hell of a freeware programm called MODplug tracker. That might have been the gate opener to one huge music world of samples, guiding the way on a long journey through genres, passing by MPCnism, leading to the lands of electronic music. That is where the Elbious rests for now, waiting for the passage to continue.
