Sooo das wars, der Festivalsommer geht zu Ende und wir können es immer noch nicht ganz glauben.
Wir hatten die Ehre mit der besten Crew der Welt @MITDIRfestival  zu tüfteln, zu basteln und mit Jux und Tollerei einen magischen Ort zu erschaffen. Auf einer Insel voller Mystic Creatures durften wir eine Woche lang kleine Schnapsideen in die Realität umsetzen, auch wenn sich alles immmernoch wie ein viel zu schöner Traum anfühlt. 

Mit unserem Set wollten wir euch auf eine Reise zwischen Fantasie und Traum einladen, um mit all den schönen Süßnasen nochmal eine richtig steile Abfahrt Richtung Sonnenaufgang zu nehmen. Und wir waren diesmal schnell unterwegs ! <3 danke Mystic Creatures für die Einladung, es hat Megafun gemacht ! Und danke auch an all die durchtrainierten Raver:innen, die auch am letzten Tag nicht schlapp gemacht haben. Es war uns eine große Ehre und wird noch lange ganz fest in unserem Herzen verankert sein, bis nächstes Jahr!

We probably don't need to say much about the next artist in our beloved down. cast series, as her sound speaks volumes and should be familiar to any downtempo aficionado by now.

Of course, we're talking about @frida-darko, who for years has consistently delivered fantastic and carefully curated sound.

Being a part of the @rebelliondertraumer and @station-endlos-halle crews and having launched her own label project @tipping-point-music in recent months, one can always be curious what this versatile artist has in store for us next.

They said they wanted to play a special downtempo set at the wonderful Station Endlos during the sunrise. But the noble intent got lost underway thus opening the gates for a formerly unknown alter ego of Dr. zhart and Dr. moosen- hear for yourselves!

It was a perfect fit and radiated summery festival vibes.

✔️ In your opinion, what makes a good afterhour?
Mo: Sunday is my favorite day! For me, the party doesn't really start until the afterhour. I've often thought about how it's possible to skip the first part of the party and start the afterhour straight away, but a good afterhour also needs a shared journey beforehand. And downtempo, of course! 😍
Justus: What moosen says! Long live the Sunday dance 🥰 a fascia roll, coffee & cake, dance massages and, above all, healing slow & light sounds.

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?
Justus: Mo & I have added elements to a few tracks that move us even more and add our own flavor. Who can hear where we added something?

✔️ How did you feel about the gig?
Mo: Wow, I can only say THANK YOU! Philia's first party at Station Endlos with wonderful support from Afterhour Sounds and the Sumpfkrug Crew was great fun! Opening the doors from Orient to the outside that morning and letting the sunlight in was wonderful. It was a really special moment for me to fill this beautiful place with music and to do it together with Justus.
Justus: Leading the people out of the club into the day in the morning with rays of sunshine on the floor and in this place with so much attention to detail... and then together with Mo, that was just a really delicious match on so many levels 😋

moosen & zhart [ at ] Station Endlos X Afterhour Sounds x philia x Sumpfkrüge

Für mich ist diese Wochenende ein kleiner persönlicher Traum wahr geworden. Ich bin bereits vor einigen Jahren extra für eine Ketoga im Odonien nach Köln gefahren und hab mich damals schon verliebt. Jetzt als neu dazugezogene Kölnerin zählt das Odonien weiterhin zu meinen Lieblingsclubs in Köln und die Ketoga Partys zu meinen Must-Gos.
Bei einer der letzten Partys hatte ich bereits das Vergnügen den Bus mit Tech House zum Wackeln zu bringen. Aber ein Set auf dem großen Floor, in einem meiner Lieblingsclubs, ist nochmal ein anderes Gefühl. Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so aufgeregt.

This is my set from Mystic Creatures Festival 2025, on the opening night of the festival. 

After a summer filled with intense experiences, I was so looking forward to close the circle and to share with you some slower sounds - music to let all creatures drift gently into a soft arrival on this beautiful island.

Seeing so many people arrive and step into their first moments of the festival during my set was truly magical. It felt like a reunion of many old and new friends, all gathering to kick off a wonderful weekend together. 
I’m deeply grateful for everyone who joined this journey. Your presence and support mean so much to me, and this memory will stay with me. ❤️

It has been a while I last started a set at 90bpm, and wow it felt amazing! This set is a mix of deep and warm sound, with a pinch of weirdness, navigating through the slower music spectrum. Taking a small detour to some more groovy tunes and to minimal vibes, before heading back to cuddly atmosphere this stage was calling for. Almost each and every track hold a strong emotional meaning for me and I am so happy how it all came together

And of course, true to my habit, I closed the set with a little surprise ;)
