Poker Flat Recordings welcomes back the ever-prolific Alex Niggemann for another speaker-troubling dispatch. This time out, the Aoen and Soulfooled boss drops a hea- vy–duty release that more than lives up to his usual high standards.
'Materium' is epic in every sense of the word- a sprawling, tough journey into analog tech- no – with a dash of house thrown in. It rips through the speakers – the crisp and aggres- sive production provides the space for grow- ling synths and atmospheric, tense pads. What’s more, the whole track audaciously dissolves into silence mid way through – be- fore exploding back into life via a descending analog synth line.

Julian Wassermann steps up to the SVT plate with an immersive four track effort that showcases his knack for deep tech melodies. A minimal bassline and synths straight from the depths of space lay the groundwork for Alpha, the kickoff into the EP. A subtle yet effective mood-setter, it makes for a great inaugural cut as the release unfolds. Title piece Aurea calmly follows, looming in with tribal infused percussion and lush, effusive vocals. Garnering an equally atmospheric mood, Wassermann aptly combines airy pads and dark synths into an immensely polarizing cut. People Are Strange dives in on a more dynamic note, centered around a solid bassline with alternating synth lines. Swiftly morphing into an energetic banger via punchy bass and ghostly vocal chops, the construction carries major peak time appeal. For the final contribution Imperia, Wassermann calls on the production skills of fellow Muenchener H.B.C. to create a radiant piece of spacious tech. Layering modular strobes and arpeggiated synths, their production styles merge harmoniously, resulting in a dancefloor-ready strapping groove.

Sincopat presents two of the best kept secrets of the year: Zurich based DJ and producer Jimi Jules remixes Upercents Pulsacions, and on the other hand, French talent Damon Jee offers a new version of AFFKTs Parafernalia.

Parafernalia was originally released at the end of 2017 included in the AFFKT Pentode EP. This release also includes huge remixes by Audiojack and Citizen Kain, but Sincopat head honcho still had a bullet in his gun. Parisian guy Damon Jee created some weeks later this incredible dancefloor killer with the Parafernalia samples. By his side, Pulsacions was included in the Upercents Tretze EP released also last year and offering top remixes by Nick Warren and Blond:ish. Now the Swiss unpredictable talent Jimi Jules gives his best presenting a groovy and hypnotic slice of electronic music.

@crosstownrebels welcome Tochno Techno label owner @yulianikomusic to release her first full EP, ​Paradise, ​a captivating three track EP featuring jazz bossanova vocalist @silromero and Italian talent @cioz on remix duty. The aptly named ​Es Vedra c​ an be heard as a digital bonus track.

Opening track ​"Caminando" e​ncapsulates Yulia’s inspiration from walking on the White Isle of Ibiza where she spent the last year living. The hypnotising deep house melody of swirly synth pads and Sil Romero’s beautiful dreamy vocals wash over skipping percussion in an emotive composition. Niko described how the track came together - “​I sent demos to my friend and great jazz Bossanova singer Sil Romero and told her about my emotions after Ibiza. She also loves the island and goes there every year. The words "Caminado" are from Spanish - walking around, and she says ”I feel good​!”. Cioz ​puts his own melodic stamp on the remix, creating a progressive club piece with bright keys over a reshaped bass line.

Our music has come a long way of flowing into multiple flows to unpack this closed box finally, so finally, the anticipation is over to present this gorgeous release for your consideration.
After numerous requests to go digital with this release, we've decided to do so, so we're delighted and honoured to welcome always unpredictable French trio dOP.
With the rich background of mesmerizing discography with labels as Life & Death, Circus Company, Watergate, Crosstown Rebels and Diynamic, the band has certainly been firm on the extracting the very best of each production, which their heads and arms have ever produced.
dOP is always delivering the message beyond time, standards and cliches, which is can be clearly seen in their music and their bright live performances.
'Carousel' is the debut release we've collected with this undoubtedly gifted band, where all the mixes are worth of deeper look and being present on vinyl.
The title 'Carousel' track is done in the manner, characterizing guys at it's best: sharp synthesizer sequences and live percussions of Luis Miguel 'Cuchara' Jaramillo are utterly merging into the stable and guaranteed floors smasher, which is beautified with Jaw's tender vocals on it.
US-based duo Bedouin, which was patiently bearing their rare and individual trend sound for years, is the first to lay the rework onto 'Carousel'. Having released numerous successful records with Crosstown Rebels, Supernature and All Day I Dream, as well as classy remixes for Black Coffee via Ultra or for &ME's & Fink's via Keinemusik, Bedouin have been running their Saga residency for a few seasons, so their appearance on the label is fully welcome and desired. Bedouin's remix is the elegant and trippy interpretation, performed in a very eclectic, calm and melodic manner, emphasizing the best of the original's harmonies and vocals.
B-side meets Jennifer Cardini - the ideologist of Correspondant label and the true unity transmitter of the 'dj-crowd' connection, which has been firmly proved by her long and broad dj-ing career. Jennifer's remix is a more energetic and weighty one, pleasing the likes of indietronica lovers together with the proper house feeling through it. Very dramatic and edgy
'Heart Signs' speaks better than words: classic dark & atmospheric pianos, mysterious violins, and warm vocals are perfectly flowing into the end of this story.
Be sure not to miss it, as boundaries are not needed here.
