Curating their second release on the newly established independent imprint TAU, the Adana Twins are keen to support the best up-and-coming talent from a saturated DJ/Producer market. The second release showcases yet another rising star; Paris-based, Romanian born - BOg.

BOg first broke onto the electronic music landscape after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. 12-years down the line he’s released on Dixon’s Innervisions & Solomun’s Diynamic, BOg is a constant in the record bags of DJs across the globe. Drawing strong influences from bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers, BOg’s ‘Terra EP’ has an evident other-worldly feel.

Innellea returns to TAU002 this time on remix duties, remixing ‘Terra’ and further cementing his position as a core artist on TAU. The B-side remix of ‘Jahar’ comes from Mathias Schober, chosen for the Adana Twins love his sound design and aesthetic, the producer delivers a remix rounding off the solid ‘Terra’ EP.

'Both Marc DePulse and Betoko are amongst the few artists sharing our start when we've just put out first EPs , so especially good having Marc and Beto back on Eleatics, now - as their collaboration 'Pulzing' release.

Main title 'Pulzing' is the melodic playground of the neat groove with the same sharp-cut melodic elements; where Germany based producer Jiggler (Stil Vor Talent, Kittball), who has become one of the most successful Melodic House & Techno artists this year, brought his melodic approach to his remix.
‘Simbiotik’ got more progressive notes on it where the remixing part is by Belarus located producer Dmitry Molosh (EIN2, Replug) embraced into the finesse of Progressive House world.

Diynamic Music returns with the 14th edition of its prime Various Artist EP series Four To The Floor. These EPs are always comprised of four dancefloor-oriented tracks that have one special quality in common: they have all been heavily road tested and certified by label boss Solomun on his countless gigs all over the world. 

Opening the release is South African artist Bruce Loko together with Sebee and their track Dimensions, a light-hearted and uplifting summertime anthem that surrounds you like a warm breeze at the ocean. Larozs Under Your Skin follows up with a deeper and sultrier vibe its thick bassline and muffled brass synths garnish the catchy vocal. 

Up next is Super Flus Acumulee, a melodic House track that captivates with its deeply layered composition and compelling groove, followed by the highly emotive ethno tune Tribe by Matt Sawyer.

German based Hannes Bieger has been a No.1 selling artist on Beatport whose melodic tracks have been released on labels such as John Digweed's Bedrock and Steve Bug's Poker Flat.

Hannes Bieger's new release is forthcoming on Davide Squillace's label This And That Lab, and the EP also features remixes by Rodriguez Jr. and Alfa Romero.

Rodriguez Jr. is a French artist who's in constant demand playing in clubs all over the world along with releasing on high profile labels such as Anjunadeep, Mobilee and Systematic.

Italian duo Alfa Romero are also of a high pedigree with a back catalogue including a wide selection of labels including tracks and remixes on imprints ranging from SCI+TEC to Akbal Music.

Opening the EP is the original version of 'Tharsis' which begins with an arpeggiated melody of a subdued lead synth that slowly swells with tension underneath swooping pads and fizzing percussion. Melodic house with just the right amount of tech, this track is both epic and hypnotic.

Second is the remix by Rodriguez Jr. whose version draws on the arpeggiated synth from the original so it becomes the main focus of his toughened rework. He also adds his own melody part and builds towards a euphoric breakdown before the kick slams in for a shadowy outro full of twists and turns.

Alfa Romero provide the second remix of Tharsis for track three, but for this version they decide to take a deeper and more ethereal approach leading to an extended breakdown filled with percussive textures. Hauntingly beautiful, this version focuses on atmosphere to build tension.

Finishing the release is 'Elysium' that has ticking percussion over bursts of white noise that cuts through the expansive mix filled with cosmic vibes. Brooding with bass throbs, the unfolding horizon of sound conjures dystopian images, and creates a sonic tapestry perfect for twisting the senses of those on the dance floor.

We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposing with the main detuned synth sound, is finishing the exploration of another Terra Incognita, which became known to you now. Booka Shade open the New Year on home imprint Blaufield Music as they deliver their latest EP ‘Dear Future Self’ alongside spoken word artist and poet Lazarusman.

As we enter the start of another decade, German producers, live act and label bosses Booka Shade continue remain at the forefront of the melodic house and techno landscape, armed with their ever-evolving live set up, releases via legendary labels including John Digweed’s Bedrock, Suara and their own blossoming Blaufield Music, and stand- out performances at the likes of Amsterdam Dance Event, Brunch In The City, and Boiler Room’s very first Warehouse event in the Middle East at The Grid, Dubai. Having spent the closing half of 2019 at work in the studio and on the road to shape and curate a variety of musical projects, January welcomes the first in a series releases as the duo deliver a medley of original cuts in the form of their ‘Dear Future Self EP’, including a collaboration with South African artist Lazarusman, dropping ahead of a yet to be announced project on the label in the year ahead.

Hypnotic and warping from the off, ‘Dear Future Self’ balances wandering, off-kilter lead synths with refined percussion and Lazarusman’s ever-mesmerising lyrics, with the ‘Club Mix’ mix laying the focus on acid-tinged leads whilst the ‘Extended Mix’ harnesses deeper, soaring textures. Second original ‘Atlantic Beam’ engages rolling, organic percussion amongst sweeping melodies and blossoming stabs to reveal a rich journey through builds and breaks, offering an impressive first glimpse into a much bigger project still yet to come... stay tuned.

The 73rd release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital begins 2020 with the sparkling "So Corrupted" from Mehmet Akar. A pair of outstanding remixes by veteran producers Sezer Uysal and Nihil Young and Talal complete the EP.

A producer with a rich artistic pedigree, Mehmet Akar quickly found himself making a sizeable impression in the underground dance fraternity. After success with his "Deep Sounds" and "2nd Resurrection" radio shows, the Turkish producer has hit the headlines with over 150 track credits for some of the industry's finest imprints. Moreover, as a winner of Sasha's "Cut Me Down" remix competition and a 2011 release on Last Night On Earth, Akar has gone on to see his music feature on Global Underground, Beatfreak Recordings, and Outside The Box.
