Isla to Isla is a team of passionate music lovers and bunch of friends pushing the boundaries of clubbing culture. Since it’s start in 2017 Isla has proceeded a number of events (residencies at Lizdas club and Empty Brain Resort), art happenings and 2 small festivals. Now it’s even more scaled with a launch of label called Isla to Isla. For now, 2 tapes of Vladas Dieninis and Jūra Elena Šedytė have been released but the ambitions are on fire and there is a vivid aim to release much more quality music on different physical formats. For Electric Shapes Isla co-founders Hìldá & Patricia Kokett recorded an intense and colourfully dynamic mix, consisting of their  eclectic tastes and giving a glimpse into what’s happening during their b2b’s.

10th digital release of Scotiish finest Invisible, Inc. comes courtesy of Budapest's Bal5000.

It's his second EP for the label, the first being the Bleu Infini EP back in 2017(although some stellar tracks of his did appear on the Lost Transmissions compilation which is getting a repress this year and the Invisible Family EP#3).

For those unfamiliar with him, Bal5000 was pretty big on the drum & bass circuit a decade or so ago (known simply as "Bal" back then) but more recently he's been exploring this kind of bass-heavy spaced house and slo-mo acid sound like you'll find here. Kind of reminiscent of I:Cube a little...but you'll find it definitely has its own distinct flavour.

In the mid 90s in a small granny flat in a then rural Wicklow village a teenage producer kept himself busy making cassette tapes full of beats on his trusty s3000 sampler and an early wooden cased PC running Cubase v1. A world of music later comes this 8 track release for t-woc's home county label Remotetown. Consisting of live set extracts, MPC workouts and straight from desk to tape jams this collection of tracks are a connection to those days of constant experimentation with limited gear and endless imagination playing out like the flailing limbs seen through a strobe at a slow motion rave.

Starting the week with David Lost @davidlost with a special Valencia Sound mix for all Bakalao fans. In this case David selected rare tracks from this era and you can listen to a lot of side B from Megabeat and other producers from Valencia.
David is a key part of a scene formed in Barcelona in which it is difficult to identify his style, but it can be identified in which mixes dedicated to the Dark Wave, Post-punk and icy and industrial sounds abound. Three years in the making, the album "Vox" is coming soon!", the electronic music duo Artfcl from Vilnius, Lithuania shares the hot news. This is the third full album and the first to use vocals. The album consists of 14 tracks, only one of which is without vocals - "Insider". The composition "Insider" has a quite deep sound, but is focused for the dance floors. Since the album is very diverse in its sound, the track "Insider" stands out enough from other tracks.


Artfcl's album "Vox" will be released on October 20th in 2022, which will be published by the publishing company Future Sound Scientists (FSS Recordings), which closely cooperates with innovative new generation electronic music professionals. Among the already released works or remixes, you can find Monikaze, who won the Lithuanian electronic music of the year nomination, as well as nominees Five Rituals, restless Roe Deers, who often performs internationally, improvisational virtuosos Quark Effect, the expressive Onegin and other resonant and relevant authors and performers from Lithuania.

January 2023 will see the release of her new EP which focuses more on heavy duty bass lines and broken percussive rhythms, alongside her recognisable vocals. It will be the first release on her brand new label Feed The Void, which takes its name from the show name of her long standing Netil Radio residency. DJ wise, she lays down no rules for herself in terms of genres and BPMs. This mix flexes over 75 minutes of industrial dub, world rhythms, progressive house, electro and breaks.

Berlin-based MINOU ORAM [LYL / Cereals] is a DJ and producer  blending music over many decades and styles between  meditative serenity and dazing temper in quest of  evoking catharsis through sound. In her boundless sets she draws upon a wealth of musical influences roaming  through the abysses of abstract electronica, cosmic and  tribal timbres, industrial post-disco, alienated pop,  personal field recordings and more. 

In 2016 she founded the FEMDEX project to promote gender  diversity in electronic music, since 2017 she hosts  the bimestrial show SVVENIR on the French radio station LYL and 2022 she joined CEREALS, a collaborative practice for music, art and design.
