Galactic Funk kick-off their first Mutant Radio show on Christmas Eve with special guests Boris Barksdale (Phromix, Natural Sciences) and NVST (Big Science, Endless Illusion). Warmest welcome on Mutant board!
Boris Barksdale is an enigmatic Greek DJ and producer is based in Paris and commands a unique selection and production style. He dropped what to most is the album of the year on Phormix and follows this up with a full-length on Natural Sciences next month.
NVST, a DJ and producer that co-runs the French label Big Science where she dropped a sick EP early last year. With a busy touring schedule before the current lockdown, she also dropped music on Endless Illusion and the new launched Proxima Records.

Last Friday, we premiered his "Uh Oooh," and now he gets his LAYERtime? We can't get enough of Monotronique, it seems. With releases on Livity Sound, Opal Tapes, Banoffee Pies, Hyperboloid, and most recently Hypercolour, the Ukrainian producer is transforming the pain of what his country is going through into smashing Electro. 

For his LAYERshift, the Kharkiv-born DJ is dragging us through his wrong-speed downtempo brew, cooked with anything from ambient to Balearic, via pitched-down House and Dancehall.

Polyester started performing under different pseudonyms in 2007, at gothic and post-punk parties. For the past few years, the music he has been playing has ranged from post-punk to EBM and various intersections inspired by these genres. Since 2011, Vaidotas has also been an event organizer - his events are based on eclecticism as much as the music he’s playing. He had a great opportunity to bring to Lithuania not only electronic artists, but also projects such as Swans, King Dude or Jozef van Wissem. He has been working on and organizing following event series - Švytėjimai, Synthezia, and most recent - I Lost My Leather jacket. He was also the Platforma program manager.

Bio!
The project of Zürich-based Polish artist, active in the Swiss underground as a DJ, music producer, live act, and host of dark electronics nights, as well as the mix series SCHOEN. In her sets, she transmutes dusky electronic experiments, EBM, harsh techno, post-punk, and mutant analog sounds into psychedelic darkness, pain, and excess. As a hardware live act and music producer, with releases on labels such as Kashev Tapes, Oramics or Tales of Psychofonia, and several self-released singles and EPs, she conjures obscure soundscapes on the fringes of post-industrial, body music and noise, inverting realities and perverting desires.

Krakow based party series we are radar and szum team up for a night in the one and only Sameheads.

This special night includes a dj set of Unsound’s resident Olivia - known for her unique and deep digged vinyl sets and numerous releases on labels such as Pinkman. Music producer and live performer Chino who has released on labels as Uncanny Valley, Syntetyk… In addition he contributes visually to the scene as a graphic designer and is the author of the poster of this night’s event.

Third Radar’s member Kinzo Chrome will come back to Sameheads to perform his debut LIVE set on an analogue hard ware set up inspired by some Acid and EBM.

And last but not least Szum’s organizer and music producer Charlie playing a Dj set. Come out for some Krakow dungeon vibes and get a taste of the polish dance.

The leftfield-loving Lithuanian started collecting music as a kid. Soon after moving to Vilnius, when Electroclash anthems ruled the Earth, Marijus decided to embark on a DJ's journey.

Now, some years later, you know him as one half of 12 INČŲ PO ŽEME, the DJ duo he steers with Simas Slabačiauskas. The two operated the Smala nights in collaboration with another Vilnius nightlife staple, Manfredas.

These days, Marijus started sharing his uncanny favorites with audiences across the globe through the Per Amzius Ambient show on Radio Vilnius. From folk and jazz leftovers from the long-forgotten times, via the gloomy picks from the end of the century to contemporary sedated beats.

An artist with a considerable discography, Anatolian Weapons is the latest pseudonym of a producer unafraid to take influences from a range of sources in the ongoing realisation of his own sound. We had the opportunity to ask Anatolian Weapons about his background, his approach to music and his recent release on Dekmantel.
