Alongside DOTT, Sarayu runs and curates More Rice Records and More Rice Records Store. A record label and store at the forefront of dance music in Asia. Sarayu is considered to be an integral part of Thailand’s ever growing dance music scene with over 13 years of experience in the industry. He can be seen regularly touring the region as well as other parts of the world. Sarayu has released released debut EP “Pridi 303” on More Rice, and since then has had releases on labels such as Boiled Wonderland, as well as, others, with many releases planned for 2024. Sarayu is often considered as a “DJ’s DJ” as he’s known to be infusing different subgenres with his UK driven sound, rooted in House, Techno, Breakbeat and beyond.

Bakk Heia Podcast No.1 - Vladimir Ivkovic (Live at The White Hotel) 

We begin our podcast series with a recording from one of the great DJs of our time, Vladimir Ivkovic, playing the final 3 hours of Bakk Heia at The White Hotel in May 24. 

In typical Vlad fashion there is a distinct and unique narrative quality to the mix. Whilst genre defying psychedelia churns into spikey IDM, and wailing post punk iterations flow into mainline acid stomp, there is an over arching sense of tenderness to the selection. Vlad told us after the lights came on that it was his intention to hold and take care of us that night. Transforming the spiralling chaos of the club environment to one which nurtures, rather than obliterates, our frenzied minds.

Bakk Heia Podcast 001 - Vladimir Ivkovic (Live at The White Hotel)

Mining is like a search-and-destroy mission. Records digging is a bit different: it is a search-and-amaze obsession.

Years passed, since the bloke Rudolf C has dived into hunting for beats. Being both a DJ and producer, in 2015 he created a corker label “Salt Mines” with his Aussie mate Shedbug. Releases by No Moon, Roza Terenzi, Reptant and Lisene have brought their imprint to a new level with the constant European attention.

Now Rudolf lives in Germany and continues his mining business alongside with the studio work. Releases on “Craigie Knowes”, “X-Kalay”, “Pleasure Club” & “DATA DISK” confirm the bright fact: the Australian music expansion is on its way.

We are happy to share the full closing set from Bonanza 2024 in all its glory, recorded on the Sunday night into Monday morning, from none other than Jane Fitz.

The closing is always a special time, especially for a non-stop, intimate event like Bonanza. When we managed to convince Jane to come to our little jungle riverside rave-up, we knew it was the slot for her. You can feel the emotion and energy on display over these 4 glorious hours; dive in and bask in the sun-kissed squelch.
