Rambal Cochet (aka St Petersberg’s Konstantyn Isaev aka Volta Cab) lands on Wrong Era with four electronic snapshots suited to the more robust dancefloor. Opener,Leptis Magna, builds and twists through subtle plateaus’ towards a storm of climactic strings that clear to reveal momentary elation. Elation becomes soundtrack suspense on Fabrizio Mammarella’s remix, stripping back the parameters (while bringing the rhythm to the fore), resulting in a driving, tunnel trancer. Enter The Infinite is a steady builder; each tweak charming you towards twilight’s dancing silhouettes. Cyrillic balearic vocal’s melodise The Hidden Magenta, which locks you in it’s groove’s exotic, growing, immediacy.

Ombra International continues the legacy of inviting artists each from a different country, to share their mutual love for the wave and acid tinged spectrum of dark club music. Finnish- Berlin - based OBI BLANCHE makes his Ombra INTL Debut with a powerful kraut-punk acid tinged jam channeling his roots in the guitar and fringe electronic
scenes as a staple member for years in the Anika band, as well as Thomas Azier. From Palawan was partly produced in the heart of the Loatian mountains, with samples found during Mura Mura‘s last roadtrip in South East Asia. Back in Lyon, his moog and his guitar we do the rest.“
French Dark Italo-tech prince, BACK FROM THE WAVE conjures an emotional ride for the strobe filled dance floors and Tokyo‘s prolific QUE SAKAMOTO joins forces with his friend NT to bring us a sludged out electro banger. Lyon‘s MURA MURA makes his Ombra debut as well, takes us on a slow and funky hypnotic journey with a song
composed in the Loatian Mountains with samples from his last trip in South East Asia.
Last but not least, the mysterious Naples-based Dark Wave screamo band bring a 136 bpm post punk infused anthem for the end of days.

For his first solo EP, Tushen Raï designed a record in the form of a colorful patchwork of sounds, a meticulous collage of samples, surrounding noises and synthesizers. Here, Maori percussion dug on field recording discs from the late 60s and 70s meet Indonesian chants recorded on phones and posted anonymously online. A nostalgic yet deeply contemporary testimony to an imagination weakened resulting from the cultural globalization. 

With "Drums Circles", Tushen Raï wants to reconnect with the adventure novels, from Jules Vernes to Barjavel, which nourished his childhood. Thought out as an ode to the diversity of our cultures, our practices and our beliefs, "Drums Circles" is a cry in favor of open-mindedness and curiosity. It is an invitation to discovery rather than to conquest. 

A humble invitation to embark on a journey and to collective trance.

After traveling to Central America BELLY DANCE SERVICES continues their journey further south: The fifteenth release of the Austro Turkish label is called TZANTZA. A genius joint venture between RANDOM ATLAS from Santiago de Chile and MARZIAN from Buenos Aires. The EP features saxophone player JOSÉ PEDRO CÓRDOVA as well as remixers CORNELIUS DOCTOR and OBERST & BUCHNER!

EP name giver TZANTZA is an epic piece of story telling filled with lively percussions, charming saxophone play and a captivating baseline. If this track were a movie it would be the latino version of Stranger Things directed by David Lynch.

The remix of TZANTZA comes from one of Viennas finest couples: OBERST & BUCHNER. Currently working on their album the co-heads of HEIMLICH MUSIC carved out a crunchy synthi stomper that brings extra pleasure to every room.

With their second original track BARRICADA the admirable trio from South America again proves their willingness to tear down barriers between traditional disciplines of electronic dance music. Therefore they simply just had to also give birth to a club version of this alluring obscurity. 

At last french producer CORNELIUS DOCTOR added his unique touch to BARRICADA. The co-head of Lyons HARD FIST RECORDS checks in with a floor filler or no, let’s call it a fancy boredom killer!

Europe is sinking into populism. The void left by politicians is slowly being filled by petty discourses promoting hatred and mistrust, encouragin people to turn upon themselves unable to find adequate responses in a globalised world.
Europe seem stuck in quicksand and every week, new statements and events drag it slowly downwards.
Dance music itself can often seem like a reflection of this rampant populism, only offering, cheap and easy throw away sensations and consumerism, recalling the « bread and games » from ancient Rome.
Personalizing this political decay within the club world, « The Populists » thrive to give clubbers back what they deserve - a place for open minded people - by bringing meaning to a music that is often devoid of it.
The club has always been a place for freedom and emancipation, for social and sensorial experimentation, and unfortunately today, it’s often a space of consumption with its formatted shapes, infinite tunnel of build-ups, drops, breakdowns and clinical productions.

7. Younger than me released the highly acclaimed Warning Code EP last year. They also remixed Curses - Her Violence Beauty, so he returned the favor and remixed the title track. Curses added his touch to the Machine Psychedelia of the original. They are an italian duo out of Milano. The production is inspired by Italo Disco, Post-Disco ,
