Behuá Icára - Ritmos para Sanar Vol.2 is our second compilation in order to support artists from the Amazonian ethnia Shipibo Konibo Xetebo in Ucayali, Perú. All profits will go directly to the Shipibo Konibo Xetebo artists that has participated in the compilation.

In some of the tracks there is a collaboration between Shipibo artists and a producer, like Peruvian producer Valicha, with Shipibo deceased maestra Panshin Beka also known as Olivia Arévalo “The last Meraya”, Shipibo Rapper Wihtner FaGo with Eomac from Ireland, Reshijabe also known as Olinda Silvano with Carmen Villain Norwegian Mexican as well with Ciel from Canada, from Colectivo Shipibas Muralistas Milka, Nimia, and Shipibo artist Rawa has collaborated with Peruvian producer Aristidez.

The artwork is based on Shipibo artist Lastenia Canayo aka Pecon Quena and his guardian "The Maquisapa Monkey", with the graphic designer Beto Prieto, and the Xao Kené pattern by the Shipibo artist Inin Bita.

Nero Zang open the ep with a slow emotional lysergic journey followed up by Oblako Maranta, the new project composed by A-Tweed and Radial Gaze, with a tribal triplets flow scanned by edgy synth, literally a peak time fire gem.
Pletnev close the A side with a trippy electro sequence marked by his voice.

Turn the vinyl to listen Matteo Coffetti in search of a new galaxy, planets are connected to each other through glitchy synths, Camboja draw us a dark scenario with twitchy screaming coming from who?
Closing the various is Hassan Abou Alam the Egyptian emergent artist with triggered voices floating on fattybass.

Mikey Sibson brings a new version of Lele, making his Eclectics debut with a truly phenomenal slice of deep club dub. Boasting a bass line so low slung it makes Hooky look uptight, this epic version plays with mechanics and dynamics, stretching time and dragging delay all over the shop. It’s hard not to think of Weatherall at his dubbed-out deepest. And that’s not a comparison we make lightly, no Sabre-rattling here.

It’s a family affair on the second Growing Bin 7”, as Peter & Patrick Jahn @patrickjahn enjoy some father and son boogie with a smooth split release. A sunblushed moocher served two ways, this disc is designed for horizontal dancing…
Rooting around the cupboards in his family home outside Nuremberg, Patrick Jahn unearthed a dusty box of cassettes, saved for posterity but eventually forgotten. Somewhere between ‘True Blue’ and ‘Brothers In Arms’ was a faded C60 full of unreleased demos by his father Peter, recorded in the mid to late 80s. Back then Jahn Sr owned a pub club called Schrank (Cupboard to the Anglophones), with an upstairs office he used as a music studio. In amongst naïve synthesiser experiments and carefree noodling was a Balearic boogie bomb, all strolling synth bass, clipped funk guitar and seaside melancholy – like Brenda Ray on a Wim Wenders soundtrack. 
Too impressed to keep it a secret, Patrick played the cut to Carsten “Erobique” Meyer, when he was over there jamming, and Hamburg’s premier funk freak suggested this might be of interest to his likeminded hometown freak Basso. Instantly in love, the Growing Bin boss suggested Patrick provide his own version for the flipside, and so it was, reborn with percussive sway, moonlit keys and beefy bass tones for the next generation. Here’s to the Jahn family, father and son but brothers in calms… (words by Patrick Ryder)

'Out of Ideas' evolves beautifully from start to finish, with 5 tracks all exploring space, movement and an unavoidable feeling of emotion. Mysterious and enigmatic 'J.Pauler' joins in for a tension building congo romp on the A1 'Desperado's' While Heure ensures the rest of the EP will digest just as well in the home as it will behind a sub when we can all hug again.
