'Moisk is the formation of eclectic minds between Pletnev and Fourmï Rouz. Mauritius born Rouz evokes a true naturalistic presence and draws upon countless multi-cultural influences to shape an electronic vibe that is fuelled with intimacy and melancholic warmth. Describing music himself as the 'Key to enlightment', it's not difficult to see that this is an artist who appreciates the unknown and emotional discovery of music. Lithuanian born Pletnev is on the rise and is an artist that is now largely becoming acquainted with the right ears after killer recent EP's with Linale, Burnin Music and Echocentric Records. Pletnev's sound also revolves around the outer-perimeters, but brings a dark and club focussed essence to the Moisk fold. Check out his EP with Linale earlier this year to see what we mean. A ferocious, darkened warehouse experience that swarmed intoxicating acid-fuelled basslines with earie atmospheres and shape-shifting breaks.'

After having the pleasure to release multiple work by MOISK on our own label we are happy to present a track from their latest EP as a premiere on our channel. 'Lithuanian Summer' is the A2 of the final release on French label Griffé this year. Pletnev and Fourmi Rouz once again delivering some fantastic 4/4 trance hits on the A side while showcasing their feeling for jungle and breaks on the flip. Moisk aka Pletnev & Fourmi Rouz delve into the depths of psychedelia soundscapes with their latest release “Tetris Life’’ on Terra Magica Rec. The duo skillfully balances modular sounds and shimmers through acid synthesizers with their signature style. Offering a wide range of sounds from uptempo half-beat to raw, energetic techno-trance, inviting you into a mesmerizing sci-fi universe. The EP features tracks like “Tetris Life” and “A Glass of Coke with Ice”, that explore underground ambient deserts and immersive jungle improvisations. This is followed by dark and slow breakbeat cuts that transition into faster-paced, floating atmospheric IDM tunes. The 12’’ contains many choppy old-school loops and uptempo trance breakdowns, as in “Orange Button’’ and “Wrong Stability”. Featuring two weird dub/IDM/breaks remixes by Anatolian Weapons and HSDJs x Listensport to round off the wax. Don’t sleep on it!

Helle is a collaborative project between LUUKA and Menke Felix. The project was conceptualized in 2021 as a result of hardware-based jam sessions, induced by the wish to capture the spirit of these performances in a more permanent format. Helle creates rich sonic textures where intricate rhythms and melodies organically merge to create truly compelling, impactful dancefloor-oriented live performances and tracks. Heavily inspired by break-based music, Helle provides a drum-focussed bass-heavy sonic experience that leaves room for dubby spaciousness.

Moisk is a prolific duo of Alex Pletnev (Toronto) and Logeshen Moorgan (Berlin). During recent years Moisk had released two records, filled with dark and slow breakbeat cuts via Lost Poncho in Istanbul records and Pleasure Express records. In 2022 duo started to work with Warning records and its sublabel Mana Abundance, releasing music there.

Alex Pletnev lives between Toronto and Vilnius where he is a resident of well known Opium club. Besides he already established himself as an international dj by playing across  Europe in its best funhouses: Roxy Club (Paris), Razzmatazz (Bcn), Renate (Berlin), Trans Musicales festival (Rennes) and many-many others. As a producer Alex did soldout records for Meda Fury, SZE (Secretsundaze sub), Needs, KUMP, Le Temps Perdu with remixing support from Ploy, Inga Mauer, Anna Helder, Heap and many more.

Logeshen Moorgan, aka Fourmï Rouz, is a cross-continental Infiltrator/DJ/curator from the multiethnic subtropical island of Mauritius. Casting a wide musical wave of oddball nutrients with a humble approach to narrating dance floors lead him to a quasi-messianic global musical exodus - making appearances at Trans Musicales Festival, Fusion, Nyege Nyege Festival, Le Sucre, Salon Des Amateurs, and curating the Goulash Disko Festival. Logeshen is now based in Berlin.
