S7RENS was born in the whirlwind of the COVID crisis with the burning memory of the emotions and the energy of the dance-floor.

Born in the 90's and too young to participate in the first raves, Gabriel and Germain have the ambition to update a music they fantasize about by combining original and modern production techniques. Minimoog, Jupiter 6, plugs-in, drum machines and Ableton intertwine.

"Euro Visions", their first single, is an explosive mix of Italo-disco, Euro-dance and sounds inspired by the Belgian New Beat. S7RENS gives us their vision of a proud, festive and multicultural European youth.

After his first record “Alamogordo/The Optimist“, Flood is back on Hanover’s “Kein Rauch Ohne Feuer“ label with his second EP. Following the heavy, hard-hitting debut, the new record now explores a more 80s-inspired sound between italo disco and electronic body music that despite its playfulness doesn’t lack the clarity and straightforwardness of Flood’s older productions. While the energetic title track, centered around catchy synth lines and Dave Gahan-esque vocals, grows into a mesmerizing tribute to the glamourous, fun side of dance music, ,“Digitalpakt“ takes a turn to the darker side: Punchy drums, a sinister bassline and estranged vocal bits won’t fail to move your body.
On the B-Side, Turnland’s Felice then waits with a very pleasant surprise and uses his remix of “Still Want You“ to turn the EP’s title track into a groovy house gem that immediately lets you think of Ibiza sunsets.

Alex Aguayo is Mahkina (SXDNS038), a moniker through which the Mexican rising star explores his 90s influences by delivering a sonority more devoted to Trance and early Rave combined with shards of Cosmic Disco. What a concoction, isn’t it? With previous appearances on vital labels such as Haunted Space, DistroKid, Maleante, and U’re Guay, he is now back on the Montevideo-based multi-genre imprint with a trippy and frenzied release: The EP consists of three highly mighty originals and three well-constructed remixes made with love by Gala, Manuel Sahagun, and Imanol, the label boss himself.

The track we chose to review/premiere is maybe the one that best expresses what Alex really intends to deliver under his new alias. “Autonomy” is above all hypnotic and feverish – exactly what is expected from the combination of his Trance & Rave influences. From his Cosmic Disco references, psychedelic and churning melodies supplied by the beautiful arpeggiated synth layers. The result: A peak-time cut devoted to putting big smiles on people’s faces!

PREMIERE355 // Mahkina - Autonomy

Maximum Flavour - the new project spearheaded by Matt FX and Giorgio Beatsaface - serves a dose of cheeky nostalgia with ‘Chef’s Kiss’, their debut original offering via Disco Halal. It’s a track that transports dancefloors back to the 80s, back to that classic New York dance music era where queer self-expression and the infamous Paradise Garage sound reigned supreme. With its glistening synths, rolling drums, and trademark jock-jam vocal drop, Maximum Flavour present a stadium-sized interpretation on the Hi-NRG sub-genre, mixing past and future to create a sense of unbridled joy.
On the flip side, label head Moscoman gives his trademark touch, adding an array of drums that up the pace of the track, making it perfect for those peak time moments. Like legendary productions duos before them, Maximum Flavour makes larger than life music for big room play. ‘Chef’s Kiss,' with its unique reference points, is a head-turning opening statement and one that carves its own lane. This is just the beginning of what looks to be quite the explosive journey for this exciting twosome.

Mecanica Celeste is the new project created by Fes Bondat and Dani Soto in which trance, eurodance and fast techno will play a fundamental role. They present their first EP called “Orbital Resonance”, made up of 3 original tracks inspired by space travel and the cosmos.


Orbital Resonance is the vision of a classic trance theme in 2022. Analog synths, an epic break and a hard trance touch make this track a safe bet for the dancefloors.

RIAD is a perfect example of the DNA of the project; halfway between techno and trance. 909 drums, uplifting melodies and a vocal sample straight from the 90's make it the perfect peak time track.

"An uplifting journey through M2-9 Nebula". This is how MC defines Space Jump. Acid lines, chords and a melody that surrounds you, are the ingredients to close the EP in the best way, pure ecstasy.
