A fish dreams in a drum machine. Hidden Operator surfaces, soaked in fog and radio hiss. The fever escapes. Kontra-Musik and Kess Kill hold hands in a burning telephone booth—two labels dancing backwards through a mirror, cackling.

This is a record made of riddles and ruin. Dub coughs in the corner. Proto techno slips on oil. UK hardcore gurgles something unspeakable before melting into a slo-mo house groove with a hangover. Lo-fi? No-fi. High-why. Slightly wrong but utterly intentional.

Basslines stagger like drunks in a maze. Snares in existential crisis. Synths whispering conspiracy theories. This is an apparition. Half dungeon, half dancefloor, half pigeon coop.

This is Bunkerlau 021.

This time we have a b2b vinyl performance hosted by Dr. Nadie @djzombie82 and Robot Frecuencies @_deathbyego from Asturias. Both belong to the @party_massacre collective.

I'd like to point out that both, both individually and together, participate and contribute greatly to the non-commercial electronic music scene and have participated in events without any desire to fight, something difficult to find these days.

These, a.k.a. Dr.Nadie and Robot Frecuencies, were born after many hours alone with an audience, playing records together improvisedly. They always found the great results they achieved and the great understanding they achieved without speaking and only improvising when they came together, creating an artistic fusion that makes them seem like a single person at the controls.

We want to highlight both artists' love of vinyl and their perfect technique when mixing tracks that are sometimes very difficult to blend due to their complexity.

We at Bunkerlau appreciate this attitude and this excellent two-hour b2b, and we hope you continue to delight everyone who loves Electro Techno, both in vinyl and raw format.

Solma draws inspiration from the hypnotic pulse of modern deep techno and the vibrant energy of UK bass music, weaving these influences into his own psychedelic sound. As the Paris-based producer and co-founder of Virtual Forest Records, he has cultivated a signature style defined by meticulous sound design that fluidly crosses genre boundaries and rates.

Spanning multiple decades, the friendship between Markus Guentner and Joachim Spieth started with contributions to Kompakt’s Pop Ambient series in 2001. At the time, neither could anticipate how the future or their respective artistic paths would unfold. Over the years, both have been a guiding presence throughout their careers as they delve farther and farther into ambient and beyond. Striving for only the utmost quality in productions and expression of self.

Coalescing in 2023, the pair combined their musical talents for their first album together titled, ‘Overlay’ released on Spieth’s label, Affin. Deep, rhythmic, and bathed in texture, it marked the next musical evolution and a harbinger of what is to come.

Enter ‘Conversion’. The seven tracker builds upon themes established in ‘Overlay’, a melding of layered textures and encompassing percussion, giving a sense of weight, heavy with emotion. Our premiere for today, Vortex smoothly enters the mind, with comforting pads, and a subtle uplifting notion. The warmth from the drone-like melodies is echoed into the steady muted kicks that provide an energetic boost to the track.

Vortex, and in turn ‘Conversion’ will be released on October 3rd via Affin.

PREMIERE: Guentner Spieth - Vortex [AFFIN]

ȶɛʍքǟʊʀǟʟ // EP016

Los Angeles native Ole Mic Odd grew up playing saxophone and immersed in jazz education before moving to the east coast and discovering turntables, synthesizers and drum machines. After four years back in LA, he moved to Chicago in 2024 where he is based.

Influenced by cult Dutch electronic labels, Detroit electro, Miami bass, Chicago house and acid, and all types of funk, his music is driven by hardware electronics, live recordings and improvisation. His high-energy hardware PA and DJ sets weave together techno, acid, electro, house, synth-wave and body music, while his recordings range from acid electro and jackin techno to crunchy house and ambient synth improvisations.

Michael has released on US and EU labels Kraftjerkz, KRI, Source Material, Zement, Dead Channel, Natural Sciences, New York Haunted, Hilltown Disco, Clan Destine, Zonate and Up North Records, among others. His latest EP "Vapor Lock" is out on Paris-based Nocta Numerica.

In an intricate lattice of ever-evolving electro exploration, Samuel Van Dijk (@mohlao) is back on Delsin with a new EP. Dave Clarke - White Noise #1030 (Electro) (2025.09.26)

For their 6th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the talented French DJ and producer VBK. Her six-track journey explores the borders of hypnotic and trippy techno, pushing toward the uplifting side of the genre.

Dynamic and deep, each piece is crafted to draw the listener into a layered sonic space, balancing intensity with rhythmic textures. The EP features a collaborative track with the Moroccan artist Zaatar and a remix from Tadan.

Opening the EP with some halftime ritualistic drum sounds, "Concern" sets the tone with a hypnotic groove that gradually unfolds into a dense and immersive atmosphere.
The second track dives deeper into hypnotic techno, combining bouncy rhythms and psychedelic elements into a tightly crafted dancefloor tune.

"Voices From Beyond" stands out as a driving and dynamic cut, where uplifting grooves meet trippy textures to create a powerful and forward-moving energy.
The fourth track immediately thrusts the listener into a bouncing rhythm, propelled by a heavy kick and rolling bassline—a solid dancefloor cut!

"IO," made in collaboration with Zaatar, brings an intense shift in energy with its acid-infused textures, darker atmosphere, and a distinctive electro-leaning vibe.
Bringing the EP to a powerful close, the sixth track features a remix by the talented Vilnius-based DJ and producer Tadan, who delivers a hypnotic blend of textured soundscapes and tribal rhythms.
